The Suzie in the title refers to The World Of Suzy Wong, a great novel by British author Richard Mason which was made into a terrible Hollywood movie in 1960. Like Suzy, Shu Mei goes to work in a bar in Wanchai around the late 1950s, where sailors and foreign money are plentiful. But there isn't much similarity beyond this.

In “82 Tenants” the widow Zhang and Bing, her new young consort, want to sell an apartment house to a property developer but old man Zhang's will provided that the current tenants can stay there as long as they want or the building survives. So it is clear who the villains are—joining the greedy couple is Chao who has purchased all the land around the building but needs this final piece so he can know everything down and build a money spinning edifice. One the other side are the tenants, a disparate group whose grudgingly and occasionally antagonistically shared communal life, while not ideal, is certainly better than not having a place to live.

Teen idol Nicholas Tse was just one year old when his father Patrick Tse (a.k.a. Shih Hsien) starred in this number one Christmas holiday hit about a hero who helps a young student vanquish a cunning, malicious gambling tycoon who's out to take over the family business.

Wu saves desperate painter Hsin. He convinces Hsin that his painting will sell if he is dead. After Hsin pretend to be dead, his paintings really can be sold well, but backfires finally. Then, Wu and Hsin team up and engage themselves full time in con games, gambling and sex inclusive. Finally, Wu is being chased by the ring enforcers but is saved. Finding himself in love with Hsiao Yen, Wu decides to turn a new leaf and live properly ever after.

Samuel Hui co-stars as Chieh,a novice gambler who gets into trouble one day when he tries to steal casino chips from a crooked card dealer Dean Shek). Whilst in jail, Chieh meets Wen and the latter agrees to become his mentor. Can Wen and Chieh make a fortune from their combined skills or will the duo wind up back in prison?

Stumbling out from the bushes, Ting used his last breath to request that Chow and Si take the stolen jewels to his wife. Later, as Chow and Sii attempt to seek out Ting's wife and daughter, gangsters who have been charged with the task of recovering the stolen goods ambush them.

Tu Chang (Peter Chen Ho)’s boss Yeh Kuang Lung (Liu Kei) thinks highly of him and is prepared to give him his daughter’s hand in marriage.
