Balagopalan a coffee shop owner in a remote village gets an orphan girl- maya. she helps him in the shop and becomes dear with her neat and smart activities. kunjunni- the assistant to balagopalan who lives in the forest. he loves the forest and forest animals. he supplies the vegetables and other row materials. these simple and straight characters attracts each other.

Life for Lakshmi turns head over heels when Vishnu the new priest's son and priest-in-training, shows up in her village. Lakshmi is instantly intrigued by the new young man in town, and strives to start a relationship with him. Certain antics and innocent clashes follow and both of them fall in love. A Headmaster falls in love with a Music teacher whose husband was a political activist.

Susanna (Madhavi) is released from jail after five years for the accidental murder of a pop singer. She reflects on the events that led up to the tragic event. Bharath Gopi plays the role of Nandu, a deaf and dumb sculptor and Susanna's husband.

The plot is structured around the search for a missing infamous tabla player of a touring drama group. Sub Inspector Jacob Eeraly (Mammootty), investigates the missing tabla player, Aiyappan (Bharath Gopi), a raging alcoholic and a criminal. Investigation of members of the drama group reveals complicated sexual rivalries and internal conflicts within the group, yielding several possible suspects to the conspiracy.

Usha (Zarina Wahab) comes to her sister's house for relief from a terrible tragedy of her life which is the accidental death of her lover Ravi played by Shankar. In the new place, she meets Ramankutty, played by Nedumudi Venu, who is the friend of Vasu Menon (Bharath Gopi), husband of her sister. Their friendship eventually turns into love, but Ramankutty's mother does not allow this proposal. Usha slowly realizes that Vasu Menon's feelings for her are wayward, but she does not tell her sister as she fears that this will ruin their family. So Usha decides to go back to her home, on the way she meets Ramankutty, who has convinced his mother about marrying Usha.

The story revolves around a bullock seller and his family. It tells how his grief and lust leads him to destroy his family.

Once, he falls in love with one of his victims, Rani, as does his lorry driver friend Ouseph. Eventually, Ouseph and Velan kills each other allowing Rani to escape with the man she really loves, a lorry cleaner.

Emotional story about the chaotic affair between a student and his college lecturer

Thakara is an orphan. He is mentally immatured but clean hearted. He has a close relationship with Subhashini, the dream girl of the village. Thakara was betrayed by the words of Chellappanashari and indulges in a physical relationship with Subhashini. Subhashini's father Mathu Mooppan finds out their relation and beats Thakara unconscious. Thakara, fully filled with revenge on Mooppan, runs away. Once he earns enough money to buy a knife, he returns and kills Mooppan. Subhashini refuses to go with Thakara, who proposes her after killing her father. With no way to escape, Thakara finds his end in front of a running train.

The story takes place in a small village surrounded by hills and valleys. Young Pappu, a teenager, awaiting school results to go to college, has plenty of time on hand. His trouble is adolescence, but neither his mother nor his aunt can diagnose his affliction. Everything around him excites and stimulates his sexual curiosity. Twenty plus Rathi, the girl next door, has been chechi (elder sister) to him since he was a child. Unaware of the stirrings of his desire, she dismisses his first overtures to her as boyish pranks. But soon her feelings change. She is sympathetic to the boy's confusion and goes to the sarppakkavu (cobra-shrine) to keep a midnight date with Pappu.
