The main match on the undercard was between Totally Buffed (Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell) and Goldberg and DeWayne Bruce, in a retirement match. Other matches included General Rection defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Shane Douglas in a first blood match, The Insiders defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Natural Born Thrillers,a triple threat match for the WCW Hardcore Championship between defending champ Terry Funk against Crowbar & Meng, and 5 other matches including one for the WCW Commissioners position between Mike Sanders and Ernest Miller.

SuperBrawl Revenge took place on February 18, 2001 from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the last Superbrawl event and the penultimate WCW pay-per-view before the WWF purchased WCW in March 2001. Along with SuperBrawl IV, it was one of only two SuperBrawls never released on home video. The main event featured Scott Steiner defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Nash in a Falls Count Anywhere Two out of Three Falls Retirement match. Also on the card was Jeff Jarrett vs Diamond Dallas Page, Kanyon vs Diamond Dallas Page, Totally Buffed vs Brian Adams in a Hanndicap match, Rick Steiner defending the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against Dustin Rhodes, Chavo Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Misterio Jr, and three other matches.

Greed was the final PPV event from World Championship Wrestling (replacing the promotion's March PPV event Uncensored which was held from 1995 to 2000). It took place on March 18, 2001 from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida. The PPV event took place eight days before the final episode of Monday Nitro. The main event of Greed was Scott Steiner defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a Fallas Count Anywhere match against Diamond Dallas Page. Starrcade (2000) was the eighteenth annual Starrcade professional wrestling PPV event. It was the thirteenth and last Starrcade event produced by WCW. It took place on December 17, 2000 at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. The main event was between Scott Steiner and Sid Vicious for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The event also featured a tag team match between the Perfect Event defending against the Insiders for the WCW World Tag Team Championship and a rematch between Lex Luger and Goldberg. New Blood Rising was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by World Championship Wrestling that replaced WCW's August PPV event Road Wild. It took place on August 13, 2000 from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. The name is a reference to the New Blood faction within WCW. The main event was Booker T defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Jarrett. Another primary match was a Triple Threat match between Goldberg, Kevin Nash, and Scott Steiner. Other matches on the card included KroniK defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Dark Carnival (Vampiro & The Great Muta), Lance Storm defending the WCW United States Championship against Mike Awesome in a Canadian Rules match with Jacques Rougeau as the special guest referee,

Halloween Havoc 1999 took place on October 24, 1999 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event was advertised as Hulk Hogan defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting. An impromptu match then takes place between the winner of this match and a surprise challenger, also for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Diamond Dallas Page faced Ric Flair in a Strap match, Goldberg challenges Sid Vicious for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, The Total Package fights Bret Hart, Chris Benoit defends the WCW World Television Championship against Rick Steiner, Berlyn wrestles Brad Armstrong, Eddie Guerrero squares off against Saturn, the vacant WCW World Tag Team Championship is put on the line in a Triple Threat Street Fight match with Harlem Heat, The Filthy Animals, and The First Family, and Disco Inferno defends the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Lash LeRoux.

Bash at the Beach 1999 took place on July 11, 1999 from the National Car Rental Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The main event was Kevin Nash & Sting defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Savage & Sid Vicious, with the stipulation that whoever got the pin would win the title. Roddy Piper fought Buff Bagwell in a boxing match, The Jersey Triad (DDP, Kanyon, & Bam Bam Bigelow) defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Saturn & Chris Benoit, The No Limit Soldiers had a rematch against The West Texas Rednecks, David Flair defended the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko, Rick Steiner defended the WCW World Television Championship against Van Hammer, and Ernest Miller wrestled Disco Inferno. There was also a "Junkyard Invitational" for the WCW Hardcore Trophy involving 14 competitors.

Fall Brawl 1999 took place on September 12, 1999 from the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This was the first Fall Brawl not to have a War Games Match. The main events wer Hulk Hogan defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting and Goldberg facing Diamond Dallas Page. Other matches included Chris Benoit defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Sid Vicious, The West Texas Rednecks defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Harlem Heat, Berlyn versus Jim Duggan, Rick Steinr defending the WCW World Television Championship against Saturn, The Revolution (Dean Malenko & Shane Douglas) tagging against The First Family (Hugh Morrus & Brian Knobs) in a No DQ match, Lenny Lane defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Kaz Hayashi, and the Insane Clown Posse versus Rey Mysterio, Jr., Billy Kidman, & Eddie Guerrero.

World War 3 1997 took place on November 23, 1997 from The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The main event was the 3 Ring, 60 Man Battle Royal match to earn a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Title defenses at this event included Curt Hennig defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, Jr., The Steiner Brothers defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Blue Bloods, and Saturn defending the WCW World Television Championship against Disco Inferno. Other matches featured included Alex Wright versus Steve McMichael, a Raven's Rules No DQ match between Raven and Scotty Riggs, Yuji Nagata versus Ultimo Dragon, and The Faces of Fear versus Glacier and Ernest Miller.

The Great American Bash (1997) took place on June 15, 1997 at The MARK of the Quad Cities in Moline, Illinois. The main event was Randy Savage versus Diamond Dallas Page in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The second main event was for the WCW World Tag Team Championships with The Outsiders defending against Ric Flair & Roddy Piper. Also at this event was a rematch between Kevin Greene and Steve McMichael of the NFL. The under card included Chris Benoit vs Meng in a Death match (also a rematch), Akira Hokuto vs Madusa (yet another rematch), Glacier vs Wrath, Konnan vs Hugh Morrus, Harlem heat vs The Steiner Brothers, and Psychosis vs Ultimate Dragon.

Souled Out 1997, and also known as nWo Souled Out, took place on January 25, 1997 from the Five Seasons Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This was an nWo sponsored PPV, all of the matches were nWo versus WCW. WCW president/nWo member Eric Bischoff and Ted DiBiase provided commentary. The nWo referee, Nick Patrick, officiated all the matches. No WCW wrestler was allowed to have theme music while the appropriate nWo theme songs played for the various members of the group. The main event featured WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan defending the title against The Giant. Eddie Guerrero defended the WCW United States Championship against Syxx in a Ladder match, The Outsiders defended the WCW World Tag Team Titles against the Steiner Brothers, Scott Norton faced Diamond Dallas Page, Buff Bagwell fought Scotty Riggs, Jeff Jarrett wrestled Mr. Wallstreet, Big Bubba Rogers took on Hugh Morrus, and Chris Jericho competed against Masahiro Chono.

The main event featured Ric Flair teaming with Roddy Piper and Kevin Greene to take on the nWo (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Syxx). Other matches included Steve McMichael vs Reggie White, Konnan & Hugh Morrus vs The Steiner Brothers, Meng vs Chris Benoit in a Death match, Dean Malenko defending the WCW United States Championship against Jeff Jarrett, Glacier vs Mortis, Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs Yuji Yasuraoka, Luna Vachon vs Madusa, and Lord Steven Regal vs Ultimo Dragon for the WCW World Television Championship.

Slamboree 1996 took place on May 19, 1996 from the Riverside Centroplex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Every non-title match was a Lethal Lottery match with wrestlers being randomly paired together, and the winning teams would advance to the Battlebowl battle royal. The title matches included The Giant defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, Konnan defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Jushin Liger, and Dean Malenko defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Brad Armstrong.

World War 3 1996 took place on November 24, 1996 from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. The main event was the WCW World War 3 match, which put 60 men in a 3 ring battle royal. A second main event included a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the WCW World Tag Team Championships with The Outsiders defending against Faces of Fear & The Nasty Boys.

World War 3 was an annual PPV event produced by WCW. The PPV's title also was the name of its signature match, a three-ring, sixty-man battle royal. The inaugural World War 3 match was contested for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, which had been stripped from The Giant due to the outcome of his match with Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc '95. Other matches included Ric Flair vs Sting, Lex Luger vs Randy Savage, Kensuke Sasaki defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Chris Benoit, Big Bubba Rogers vs Jim Duggan, and Johnny B. Badd defending he WCW World TV Championship against Diamond Dallas Page. WCW released the World War 3 events on home video the following year, with the packaging for the first three releases reflecting the year that the video was released and not the year that the actual event took place, e.g. World War 3 1995 was released on VHS as World War 3 '96.

WCW Main Event was a televised wrestling program of World Championship Wrestling that aired from 1988 to 1998. For most of its run, it was the promotion's secondary show and aired on Sunday evenings on TBS. The show originally aired in 1988 as NWA Main Event. The rights to WCW Main Event now belong to WWE.
