The 1920s, Germany, times of hyperinflation. A young antique dealer realizes that his father’s shop is on the verge of going bankrupt. While going through the journal records, he finds notes about an old client, who owns a priceless collection. He decides to go to the province, hoping to buy it for dirt-cheap.
The film takes place in late 1941 in Transcarpathia. Soviet paratroopers landed on the territory occupied by the Hortists. Of the six, only Olexa Borkanyuk manages to bypass the ambush. However, the Nazis, taking local people hostage, threaten to punish them if he doesn't voluntarily surrender. For the sake of saving the lives of people, Olexa goes to the camp of the enemy. The film is based on real facts from the life of the writer and journalist, Hero of the Soviet Union Olexa Borkanyuk.
Kaminnyi khrest (Stone Cross, 1968) told the powerful story of a proud farmer who decided to emigrate to Canada during the 1890s. The film captured moments shortly before the farmer set off for his voyage and had to say “good-bye” to his native village, friends and relatives. The internal conflict of the farmer in doubt about his decision became the central focus of the film. Like Vasyl Stefanyk’s novella that inspired it, the film is a meditation on the sense of one’s belonging, the sense of one’s own culture and what it means to abandon it.
After the death of Bela, Pechorin was unwell for a long time, and then left the fortress and Maxim Maximych and left for Georgia. Explosions thundered in the territory occupied by the Nazi invaders. An old and experienced military leader, Admiral Reingardt, arrives to investigate this incident. Together with the chief of the Gestapo, Standarfenführer SS Hübe, he takes all measures to suppress the activity of the partisans, raids and arrests, but all in vain. Subversion continues under water. To fight the bombers from Italy send a detachment of soldiers who have experience of underwater war.

A routine training flight overnight can be a harsh test of courage for them. Today, future aces will face a difficult exam, for which life itself will put a mark.
