During the French Revolution, a mysterious English nobleman known only as The Scarlet Pimpernel (a humble wayside flower), snatches French aristos from the jaws of the guillotine, while posing as the foppish Sir Percy Blakeney in society. Face Value is a quirky satirical film based on a young man's obsession with his frown lines, the lengths at which he goes to smooth out his wrinkles and the money he spends, much to the annoyance of fellow housemates Toby and Sarah. To escape the mountain of debt his obsession has cost, Joey agrees to take part in a trial skin rejuvenation treatment, with some very unexpected results.
