Chin Fei
A woman, married off to a butcher who routinely abuses her, is overpowered by the twin forces of patriarchy and tradition in Taiwan.
A troop of monks from the Shaolin Temple embark on a mission to get the Golden Sutra to Tibet after the Shaolin Abbot is killed by their traitorous teacher. They are joined on their quest by a beautiful, female warrior – with aims to avenge her father's death. They traverse forests and mountains on their mission, all the while fighting off deadly ninja assassins, vicious gangsters and even the undead.
The red cloth lamas are on the attack, so Shaolin send a young boxer to Tibet to learn Lama Kung Fu and seek advice from the high lama. Massive battles ensue as martrial chaos strikes the region. Upon their invasion of Taiwan in 1874, the Japanese team up with a sinister tong to hold a martial arts tournament in a plot to root out and assassinate the region's top resistance fighters, thereby breaking the spirit of Chinese patriotism. Two local kung-fu masters prove more than a match for the invaders.
