A remake of the 2004 Thai-thriller, Shutter, Sivi opened in September 2007 to positive reviews. t begins when Krishna (Yogi) a young photographer and his girlfriend Sona (Jayashri Rao) accidentally run down a young woman on their drive home after a night's party on a deserted stretch of East Coast Road, near Chennai. They decide to leave the dead body and drive away. Later Krishna discovers something strange when he finds a mysterious shadow that appears on the pictures he takes with his camera. Ever since the accident, Krishna has been experiencing shoulder and neck pains.

Shri Bhramma is unhappy with Yamraj and his assistant, Chitragupt, as they have misplaced a book or prophecy called "Bhavishya Vani", and asks them to go down to Earth and find the book within 30 days or else they will lose their status in heaven and will be forced to live as mortals on Earth. The two descend to Earth, and find out that the book is in the possession of a man named Suraj, who is unwilling to give up the book as he has read the prophecy about his mother's dying. This refusal is catastrophic as Yamraj cannot plan anyone's death, and no one will be permitted to die unless and until the book comes in his possession. At the same time there is an evil man named Chota Ravan who is trying to possess the book in order to spread his control over Bombay.
Kaliyuga Pandavulu is action drama based movie in which, Vijay (Venkatesh) is a spoilt son of rich industrialist Chakrapani (Rao Gopal Rao) and his father encourages him for whatever misdeeds he does. Bharathi (Khushbu), a smart, intelligent, and middle class girl studies in the same college of Vijay and changes him to a better person. Vijay and Bharathi fall in love with each other and plan to get married. In Vijays absence Chakrapani who is against their marriage tarnishes Bharathis image and labels her as a prostitute. Vijay disbelieves that and saves her from suicide. There are so many victims like Bharathi so Vijay, Bharathi, and their three friends decide to fight against the injustice around and form a group called Kaliyuga Pandavulu. The rest of the story is how they succeed in fulfilling their commitment.
After being abandoned by her lover, Thangam, a construction worker, lives in a slum with her only son Chitti Babu. Chitti grows up as an irresponsible kid until he meets the owner of an ice cream factory.
