Amparo, a sixty-five woman, has to face a new life after the death of her husband. Amparo end up living at home with his son, married with a son, but given the dominant nature of Amparo, eventually clashing with Teresa, the daughter, which gradually will look like her mother interfering in your life to deteriorate relationships .
Arturo is obsessed with cleanliness and order. This trait interferes with his normal life and raises problems with those around him, specially with his mother and bride. A doctor suggests he should make a treatment with gamma rays, in his private practice.
Ramón, an egocentric and successful film producer, is only interested in money and women. A bus called Sueños (Dreams) links three modern-day tales set in exotic Ecuador - the equator-straddling country that calls itself "The Middle of the World." Each of these stories carries a woman's name, and each features a mysterious, alluring female outsider who bewitches men. In the first tale, a blonde woman with an unclear past arrives in a remote, male-deprived Andean town and offers piano lessons, only to become the focus of wild rumors and innuendo. In the second, a married college professor who is haunted by nightmares becomes obsessed with a beguiling woman who seems to be sending him an ominous message. In the final story, a couple vacationing at a jungle resort refuse to believe in the ancient myths of Ecuador, but are forced to confront the legendary Guasangó.
German/Czechoslovakian depiction of the famous fairy tale 'The Frog Prince', by the Brothers Grimm. When a young princess, instead of being fully dedicated to her love, persists in running around like a tomboy and roaming the forests with her gang, and a young prince refuses to give up all his vices and mischief, an aquaphobic fairy takes their fate into her hands. The princess then falls in love with the prince, who declares eternal fidelity to her. When he however breaks this promise, the fairy turns him into a frog. With which the loyalty of the princess is being tested as well.
