Then he demonstrates the "Demon-Spritzer", a self-made cement machine which then breaks down and squirts down Klabbarparn with cement. Sjökvist is robbed and bike down with his delivery-bicycle in water at a beach. The robbers then repents and wants to return the money. Åsa-Nisse's brother Julius returns home from USA, apparently very rich. Also, Åsa-Nisse och Klabbarparen takes care of a little child which leads to all sorts of complications.
On a tourist trip abroad the passengers on the coach witness an assassination attempt on the President Hurkas. One of the tourists has evidence against the perpetrators, and is killed when the coach reaches Sweden. Another passenger observes how one of the perpetrators is picked up by a yellow car. She is kidnapped and locked up in a mental hospital.
Country bailiff believes that a man of the people shall exercise police work. Åsa-Nisse appointed to the local police for some time. "Nesses" sometimes odd methods will still work somehow. Åsa-Nisse and Klabbarparn then visit Gothenburg to see the singer Gun from Knohult at Liseberg. There they also take a tour of the roller-coaster.
The local newspaper celebrates 50 years and are now looking for a citizen who has lived as long in the neighborhood. Our hero Åsa-Nisse seems to fit the profile.
