The tank corps of General Shubnikov in the spring of 1945 was already on the outskirts of Berlin. The stray rear did not ensure the regularity of the fuel supply. Colonel Lebedenko was commissioned to organize a base of fuel and lubricants in Himmelsfort, where a small group of Soviet soldiers had to enter into an unequal battle with the remnants of an enemy tank regiment, trying to break through the city.
A certain number of French fighter pilots who will not accept the Second Armistice at Compiègne nor Vichy's orders decide to join the USSR. Once they have reached Moscow they resume training and form a squadron they call "Normandie". Reinforced in 1944, the squadron wins many victories. Following the acts of valor displayed by its pilots during the Battle of the Nieman River, it becomes the "Normandie-Niemen" squadron for the rest of times...
Ilya is unable to use his legs. When he aids some weary travellers, they surprise him by giving him a potion that restores his legs. He immediately becomes powerful and sets off to prove himself to his King. Doing so, he fights the evil Tugars, a wind demon that looks like a cross between a goblin and The Noid, a zeppelin-like ambassador, and the evil Tugars. Ilya gets framed for a crime he didn't commit, then is freed, then finally dispatches the Tugars and their dragon.
