For close to a decade, professional wrestling fans loved Clash of the Champions, a series of supercards that aired on TBS, featuring the biggest stars of first NWA and the WCW. Over the course of 35 events from 1988 through 1997, fans were treated to championship contests, grudge matches, and spectacular moments. Many of these matches have never been released on home video until now. The Best of the Clash of the Champions, hosted by 3-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall of Famer, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, will highlight some of the greatest matches in the event’s ten-year history and features fan favorites Ric Flair, Sting, The Road Warriors, Lex Luger, the Four Horsemen, the nWo, and so many more.

Royal Rumble (2011) was the twenty-fourth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It took place on January 30, 2011 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As has been customary since 1993, the Royal Rumble match winner received a match at that year's WrestleMania for his choice at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. The main event was the annual Royal Rumble match featuring 40 participants from both brands, instead of the usual number of 30. The primary match on the Raw brand was for the WWE Championship, between reigning champion The Miz and Randy Orton. The primary match on the SmackDown brand was Edge versus Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship. The other featured match on the card was a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE Divas Championship between Eve Torres, Natalya, Layla and Michelle McCool.

Royal Rumble (2010) was the twenty-third annual Royal RumblePPV. It took place on January 31, 2010 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. As has been customary since 1993, the Royal Rumble match winner received a match at that year's WrestleMania, for his choice at either the WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, or the ECW Championship. The main event was the annual 30-competitor Royal Rumble match which featured wrestlers from all three brands. The primary match on the Raw brand was for the WWE Championship between champion Sheamus and Randy Orton. The primary match on the SmackDown brand was between The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship. The featured match on the ECW brand was between Christian and Ezekiel Jackson for the ECW championship.

Elimination Chamber (2010) was a PPV which took place on February 21, 2010 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. It was the first Elimination Chamber event. The concept of the event was that the two main event matches would occur in an Elimination Chamber. Each match featured six competitors: the defending champion and five challengers. Sheamus defended the WWE Championship against Triple H, Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Kofi Kingston in the Raw Elimination Chamber. In the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match, The Undertaker defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and R-Truth. On the undercard, Drew McIntyre defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kane, The Miz defended the WWE United States Championship against Montel Vontavious Porter, and Maryse and Gail Kim competed against Team Lay-Cool (Layla and Michelle McCool) in an interbrand Divas tag team match.

Survivor Series (2009) was a PPV which took place on November 22, 2009 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.. It was the 23rd annual Survivor Series event. There were two matches that were deemed the main events of the program. The first was the triple threat match featuring The Undertaker defending the World Heavyweight Championship against the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show. This was also followed by the another triple threat main event match with John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Four matches comprised the undercard of the event. The first was the team of WWE US Champion The Miz, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, and Dolph Ziggler versus WWE IC Champion John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, and Evan Bourne. This was later followed by Kofi Kingston leading the team of Christian, MVP, Mark Henry, and R-Truth versus Randy Orton, CM Punk, William Regal, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase.

Breaking Point was a PPV presented by Eidos Interactive's Batman: Arkham Asylum. It took place on September 13, 2009 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The name of the event was voted by fans and was chosen over Submission Sunday, Total Submission, and Submit & Quit. Each main event match was to be contested under submission rules. The main events included CM Punk defending against The Undertaker in a submission match for the World Heavyweight Championship, John Cena challenging Randy Orton in an "I Quit" match for the WWE Championship, and The Legacy versus D-Generation X in a Submissions Count Anywhere match. Other matches featured on the show were Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show versus Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston defending the WWE United States Championship against The Miz, Kane facing The Great Khali in a Singapore Cane match and Christian versus William Regal for the ECW Championship.

Extreme Rules (2009) was a PPV which took place on June 7, 2009 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana and was presented by AT&T. It was the first event promoted under the Extreme Rules name, and initially noted by WWE to be a direct continuation of the One Night Stand chronology. It featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main event was a Ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship, which saw Jeff Hardy challenge reigning champion Edge. There were also two other highly-publicized matches; the first was a steel cage match for the WWE Championship between the champion Randy Orton and Batista, as well as a submission match between The Big Show and John Cena. Featured matches on the undercard included a No Holds Barred match between Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, CM Punk versus Umaga in a Samoan Strap match and a Triple Threat Hardcore match for the ECW Championship.

SummerSlam (2009) was a PPV which took place on August 23, 2009 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and was presented by 7-Eleven. It was the 22nd annual SummerSlam event. The main events of the evening included: CM Punk challenging World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the title, John Cena challenging WWE Champion Randy Orton for the title, William Regal challenging ECW Champion Christian for the title, and D-Generation X's Triple H and Shawn Michaels versus The Legacy's Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Survivor Series (2008) was a PPV that took place on November 23, 2008 at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, It was presented by THQ's WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The event, the 22nd Survivor Series, featured talent from WWE's all three brands, Raw, SmackDown and ECW. The main event was for the World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena, and the champion, Chris Jericho. Another match on the event was the SmackDown main event, which saw Edge, Vladimir Kozlov, and the champion Triple H, in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship. The undercard matches included The Undertaker versus The Big Show in a Casket Match and three five-on-five elimination tag team matches.

Armageddon (2006) was a PPV presented by Activision's Call of Duty 3, which took place on December 17, 2006 at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. The event starred wrestlers from the SmackDown! brand. The main event was a tag team match, in which the team of Batista and John Cena took on the team of King Booker and Finlay. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard, including The Undertaker versus Mr. Kennedy, in a match where the objective was to place an opponent in a hearse located on the entrance stage and drive them out of the arena and an Inferno match featuring wrestlers attempting to set the opponent on fire with flames surrounding the ring featuring Kane vs. MVP.

The Great American Bash (2006) was the third annual Great American Bash PPV. It took place on July 23, 2006 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a SmackDown! brand-exclusive event. The main event was Rey Mysterio versus King Booker for the World Heavyweight Championship. One of the predominant matches on the card was The Undertaker versus The Big Show in the first ever Punjabi Prison match. Another primary match on the undercard was Batista versus Mr. Kennedy.

WrestleMania 22 was the twenty-second annual WrestleMania PPV. It was presented by Snickers and took place on April 2, 2006 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. The main match on the Raw brand was John Cena versus Triple H for the WWE Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton. Featured matches on the undercard included a No Holds Barred match between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon, a Casket match between The Undertaker and Mark Henry, a WWE Women's Championship match between Mickie James and Trish Stratus and an interpromotional Money in the Bank ladder match featuring six participants. Tickets sold out in under two minutes, grossing US$2.5 million for the event, making it the highest grossing one-day event at the Allstate Arena. More than 17,155 people attended, with millions more watching in more than 90 countries.

No Mercy (2006) was the ninth annual No Mercy PPV. It took place on October 8, 2006 from the RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina and was a SmackDown! brand-exclusive event. The main event was a Fatal Four-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion King Booker, Bobby Lashley, Batista, and Finlay. One of the predominant matches on the card was Mr. Kennedy versus The Undertaker. Another primary match on the undercard was Rey Mysterio versus Chavo Guerrero in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

One of the predominant matches on the card was an Interpromotional tag team match between WWE Tag Team Champions Batista and Rey Mysterio and World Tag Team Champions Big Show and Kane. Another primary match on the undercard was Booker T versus Chris Benoit in the fourth match of their "Best of 7" series for the vacant WWE United States Championship.

Backlash (2005) was the seventh annual Backlash PPV. It took place on May 1, 2005 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire and was presented by Namco's Tekken 5. The event starred talent from the Raw brand. In the main event, Batista defended the World Title in a singles match against Triple H. From the five scheduled bouts on the undercard, two received more promotion than the others. The first was a tag team match, in which Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan challenged Muhammad Hassan and Daivari. The other was a Last Man Standing match between Chris Benoit and Edge.

New Year's Revolution (2005) was the first annual New Year's Revolution PPV. It took place on January 9, 2005 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The main event was an Elimination Chamber match for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship between Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista, Edge, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit. Another primary match on the card was Muhammad Hassan versus Jerry Lawler.

WrestleMania 21 was the twenty-first annual WrestleManiaPPV. It was presented by Snickers and took place on April 3, 2005 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The main match on the Raw brand was Triple H versus Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown brand was John "Bradshaw" Layfield versus John Cena for the WWE Championship. Another primary match was an interpromotional match between The Undertaker versus Randy Orton. The featured matches on the undercard were Kurt Angle versus Shawn Michaels and a Money in the Bank ladder match. The event also featured the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin who started his part-time appearances with WWE at this event. The main event from the Raw brand was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Triple H and Scott Steiner. The main match on the undercard from Raw, was the encounter of Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff, while the main match on the undercard from SmackDown! was a Six-man Tag Team match between the team of Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Charlie Haas, and Shelton Benjamin) and the team of Brock Lesnar, Edge, and Chris Benoit, where Edge was unable to participate in the match due to injury.

No Way Out (2002) was a professional wrestling PPV that took place on February 17, 2002 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The biggest angle for No Way Out was when Vince McMahon revealed that he would unleash the New World Order (nWo) upon the World Wrestling Federation in an attempt to "kill (his) creation". Vengeance (2002) was a PPV which took place on July 21, 2002 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The main event from SmackDown saw the WWE Undisputed Championship in a Triple Threat featuring The Rock, Kurt Angle and the defending champion The Undertaker. The main event from Raw was between the champion Rob Van Dam and challenger Brock Lesnar for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The undercard featured The Un-Americans (Lance Storm and Christian) versus Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Edge for the WWE Tag Team Championship and John Cena's first ever WWE Pay-Per-View match against Chris Jericho.

Unforgiven (2002) was a PPV presented by Castrol GTX that took place on September 22, 2002, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was the fifth annual WWE Unforgiven event. The main event from the SmackDown! brand featured WWE Champion Brock Lesnar fighting The Undertaker to defend the title. The main event from the Raw brand featured World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defending against Rob Van Dam for the title. Four matches were featured on the undercard. The first was a singles match between Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. The next was Trish Stratus challenging Molly Holly for the WWE Women's Champion. Eddie Guerrero fought Edge and WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho defended his title from Ric Flair.

Survivor Series (2001) was the fifteenth annual Survivor Series PPV and was presented by Microsoft's Xbox. It took place on November 18, 2001 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This PPV marked the end of The Invasion angle. The main event was a 10 Man Elimination Tag Team Match featuring The Rock, Chris Jericho, Kane, The Big Show and The Undertaker vs. Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Shane McMahon Several titles were put on the line in unification matches. The WWF Intercontinental/WCW U.S. Title had Edge vs. Test, the WWF/WCW Tag Team Titles were unified in a Steel Cage match with The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz, the WWF European Title was defended by Christian vs. Al Snow, and there was an "Immunity Battle Royal" to get protection from being fired by which-ever brand came out on top.

Rebellion (2001) took place on November 3, 2001 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main event was a WWF Championship match featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. The WCW Championship was also on the line between Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle. The WCW Tag Titles were defended by the Dudley Boyz in a Triangle match against the APA and The Hardy Boyz. Judgment Day (2001) was a professional PPV presented by RC Cola. It was the third such annual event and took place on May 20, 2001 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The main event was Steve Austin defending the WWF Championship against The Undertaker in a No Holds Barred match. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a Chain match, Triple H defended the WWF Intercontinental Champion against challenger Kane. The other featured bout was a two out of three falls match, which saw Kurt Angle compete against Chris Benoit with Kurt Angle's Gold Medal on the line.

Backlash (2001) was a PPV presented by Castrol GTX. It took place on April 29, 2001 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, and was the third event under the Backlash chronology. The main event was a tag team match for the WWF Championship, the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and the WWF Tag Team Championship between The Two Man Power Trip (Steve Austin and Triple H) and the Brothers of Destruction (Kane and The Undertaker), in which the person to get the fall would win the Tag Team Championship as well as the championship of the wrestler who was pinned. Featured matches on the undercard included a Last Man Standing match between Shane McMahon and The Big Show and an Ultimate Submission match featuring Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle.

Insurrextion (2001) took place on May 5, 2001 at Earls Court in London, England. The main event was a handicap match with The Undertaker facing Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. In a Queen's Cup match, Chris Jericho faced William Regal. Chris Benoit fought Kurt Angle in a two out of three falls match. There was also a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match between The Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian, The Dudley Boyz, and X-Factor.

Invasion (also typeset as InVasion) was a PPV presented by Sony's PlayStation 2. It took place on July 22, 2001 at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This event was originally planned to be called Fully Loaded 2001, as it was advertised at the King of the Ring 2001 event, which immediately preceded Invasion. Invasion was the first PPV to feature the Invasion of wrestlers from the WWF taking on a combined force of wrestlers from World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), later known as The Alliance. The main event, dubbed the "Inaugural Brawl," was a five-on-five tag team match between Team WWF and Team WCW/ECW. The other main match was a singles match for the WWF Hardcore Championship between Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy.

Vengeance (2001) was the first annual Vengeance PPV. It was presented by Lugz and took place on December 9, 2001 at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California. The main feature of the event was a three-match tournament to unify the WWF Championship and the unbranded former WCW Championship into what became known as the Undisputed Championship. Stone Cold Steve Austin competed against kurt Angle in the first match for the WWF Championship. Chris Jericho then competed against the Rock for the World Championship. The winners of those two matches then fought for the Undisputed Championship title. In the undercard, The Hardcore Championship was defended by Rob Van Dam against The Undertaker, Edge defended the Intercontinental Championship against William Regal, Big Show and Kane challenged The Dudley Boyz for the Tag team Championship belts, and Trish Stratus fought Jacqueline for the Women's Championship.

WrestleMania X-Seven was the seventeenth annual WrestleMania PPV and was presented by Snickers Cruncher. It took place on April 1, 2001 at the Reliant Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The event was the first WrestleMania held in the state of Texas. A record-breaking attendance for the Reliant Astrodome of 67,925 grossed US$3.5 million. The main event was a No Disqualification match between Steve Austin and The Rock for the WWF Championship. The main matches on the undercard featured Triple H versus The Undertaker, the second Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the WWF Tag Team Championship, and Vince McMahon versus Shane McMahon in a Street Fight. With WWE's acquisition of long-time competitor WCW and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin joining forces with storied rival Mr. McMahon.

Royal Rumble (2001) was the fourteenth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It was presented by MCI's 1-800-COLLECT and took place on January 21, 2001 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The main event was the Royal Rumble match. Kane set a record for the most eliminations and the match saw Drew Carey enter the Royal Rumble. Featured matches on the undercard included a ladder match between Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit for the WWF Intercontinental Championship and a singles match between Kurt Angle and Triple H for the WWF Championship.

Armageddon (2000) was a professional wrestling PPV that took place on December 10, 2000, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. It was the second annual Armageddon event, and the only WWE pay-per-view event ever to be held in the state of Alabama. The main event match of Armageddon 2000 was a six-man Hell In A Cell match for Kurt Angle's WWF Championship. The challengers were The Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H, Rikishi, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Ivory defended the Women's championship in a Triple Threat match against Molly Holly and Trish Stratus.

Survivor Series (2000) was the fourteenth annual Survivor Series PPV. It was presented by 3DO's Warriors of Might and Magic and took place on November 19, 2000 at the Ice Palace in Tampa, Florida. The main event was a No NQ match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H which spilled to the backstage area. The undercard featured Dudley Boyz and Hardy Boyz versus Edge and Christian and Right to Censor in a four-on-four Survivor Series elimination match, Kurt Angle versus The Undertaker for the WWF Championship, Ivory versus Lita for the WWF Women's Championship, The Rock versus Rikishi, William Regal versus Hardcore Holly for the WWF European Championship, Kane versus Chris Jericho, The Radicalz versus D-Generation X in a four-on-four Survivor Series elimination match and Steve Blackman, Crash Holly and Molly Holly versus T & A and Trish Stratus in a Six Person Mixed Tag match.

Rebellion (2000) took place on December 2, 2000 at the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England. The main event was a Fatal Four-Way match for the WWF Championship between Kurt Angle, Rikishi, Steve Austin and The Rock. Undertaker competed against Chris Benoit, Right to Censor defended the Tag Team Championship against the Hardy Boyz, Kane fought Chris Jericho, William Regal defended the European Championship against Crash Holly, Steve Blackman defended the Hardcore Championship against Perry Saturn, and Ivory defended the Women's Championship against Lita.

No Mercy (2000) was the third No Mercy PPV. It was presented by Presto and took place on October 22, 2000 at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York. The main event was a No NQ match for the WWF Championship where The Rock defended the title against Kurt Angle. The other main match was a No Holds Barred Match between the returning Stone Cold Steve Austin and Rikishi. The undercard featured Triple H versus Chris Benoit, Hardy Boyz versus Los Conquistadores for the WWF Tag Team Championship, William Regal versus Naked Mideon for the WWF European Championship, Right to Censor versus Chyna and Mr. Ass in a tag team match, Chris Jericho versus X-Pac in a Steel cage match, Acolytes Protection Agency and Lita versus T & A and Trish Stratus in a six-person mixed tag team match and a Dudley Boyz Invitational Tables match.

Bash at the Beach 1999 took place on July 11, 1999 from the National Car Rental Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The main event was Kevin Nash & Sting defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Savage & Sid Vicious, with the stipulation that whoever got the pin would win the title. Roddy Piper fought Buff Bagwell in a boxing match, The Jersey Triad (DDP, Kanyon, & Bam Bam Bigelow) defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Saturn & Chris Benoit, The No Limit Soldiers had a rematch against The West Texas Rednecks, David Flair defended the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko, Rick Steiner defended the WCW World Television Championship against Van Hammer, and Ernest Miller wrestled Disco Inferno. There was also a "Junkyard Invitational" for the WCW Hardcore Trophy involving 14 competitors.

Survivor Series (1998) was the twelfth annual Survivor Series. It was presented by Nestlé Crunch and took place on November 15, 1998 at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Fourteen matches were scheduled on the event's card, a noticeably higher number than most pay-per-view events because the main focus of the card was a tournament for the vacant WWF Championship titled Deadly Game. It was the first tournament held with the WWF Championship on the line in ten years, the last being at WrestleMania IV. Aside from the tournament, two other championship matches occurred: the first defense of the WWF Women's Championship since it had been reactivated and a triple threat tag team match for the WWF Tag Team Championship. This event was also the first Survivor Series not to feature the traditional Survivor Series elimination-style tag team match.

World War 3 1997 took place on November 23, 1997 from The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The main event was the 3 Ring, 60 Man Battle Royal match to earn a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Title defenses at this event included Curt Hennig defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, Jr., The Steiner Brothers defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Blue Bloods, and Saturn defending the WCW World Television Championship against Disco Inferno. Other matches featured included Alex Wright versus Steve McMichael, a Raven's Rules No DQ match between Raven and Scotty Riggs, Yuji Nagata versus Ultimo Dragon, and The Faces of Fear versus Glacier and Ernest Miller.

Spring Stampede 1997 took place on April 6, 1997 from the Tupelo Coliseum in Tupelo, Mississippi. The main event was a No DQ match between Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page as well as a Number One Contender 4 Corners match was held between The Giant, Lex Luger, Booker T & Stevie Ray. A WCW World Tag Team Championship match was held btween Kevin Nash & Rick Steiner. Scott Hall no showed the event and Scott Steiner was "arrested" earlier in the evening. Other matches included Chris Benoit challenging Dean Malenko for his WCW United States Championship, Public Enemy versus Steve McMichael & Jeff Jarrett, Prince Iaukea defending the WCW World Television Championship against Lord Steven Regal, Akira Hokuto defending the WCW Women's Championship against Madusa, and Ultimo Dragon versus Rey Mysterio, Jr.

Slamboree 1997 took place on May 18, 1997 from the Independence Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. The main event featured Ric Flair teaming with Roddy Piper and Kevin Greene to take on the nWo (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Syxx). Other matches included Steve McMichael vs Reggie White, Konnan & Hugh Morrus vs The Steiner Brothers, Meng vs Chris Benoit in a Death match, Dean Malenko defending the WCW United States Championship against Jeff Jarrett, Glacier vs Mortis, Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs Yuji Yasuraoka, Luna Vachon vs Madusa, and Lord Steven Regal vs Ultimo Dragon for the WCW World Television Championship.

Slamboree 1996 took place on May 19, 1996 from the Riverside Centroplex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Every non-title match was a Lethal Lottery match with wrestlers being randomly paired together, and the winning teams would advance to the Battlebowl battle royal. The title matches included The Giant defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, Konnan defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Jushin Liger, and Dean Malenko defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Brad Armstrong.

Uncensored 1996 took place on March 24, 1996 from the Tupelo Coliseum in Tupelo, Mississippi. The idea behind this event is that each match is unsanctioned, with a heavy emphasis on gimmick matches. The main event was The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage) versus The Alliance to End Hulkamania (an 8 man team that included Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Meng, The Barbarian, Lex Luger, The Taskmaster, Z-Gangsta, and The Ultimate Solution) in a Doomsday Cage match. Other matches included A Chicago Street fight was held between Sting & Booker T versus The Road Warriors, The Giant vs Loch Ness, The Booty Man vs Diamond Dallas Page, and 3 other matches.

The Great American Bash (1996) took place on June 16, 1996 at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The main event was a singles match with The Giant defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Lex Luger. Other matches included Ric Flair & Arn Anderson versus Kevin Greene & Steve McMichael, Sting vs Lord Steven Regal, Kevin Sullivan vs Chris Benoit in a Falls Count Anywhere match, Dean malenko defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, Jr., DDP vs Marcus Bagwell, Konnan defending the WCW United States Championship against El Gato, and The Steiner Brothers wrestling Fire & Ice for #1 contendership for the WCW World Tag Team Titles.

World War 3 1996 took place on November 24, 1996 from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. The main event was the WCW World War 3 match, which put 60 men in a 3 ring battle royal. A second main event included a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the WCW World Tag Team Championships with The Outsiders defending against Faces of Fear & The Nasty Boys.

The Great American Bash (1995) took place on June 18, 1995 at the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio. The main event was Randy Savage versus Ric Flair in a singles match. Title matches included A singles match for the vacant WCW United States Championship between Sting and Meng, The Nasty Boys defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Blue Bloods, and Arn Anderson defending the WCW World Television Championship against the Renegade. The under card was composed of Jim Duggan vs Sgt. Craig Pittman, Dave Sullivan (with his pet rabbit, Ralph) vs Diamond Dallas Page in an Arm Wrestling contest, and Brian Pillman vs Alex Wright.

Bash at the Beach 1995 took place on July 16, 1995 on the beach in Huntington Beach, California. To promote the event, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Big Van Vader and Kevin Sullivan guest starred on season 6 episode 15 of Baywatch, also titled "Bash at the Beach". The main event was a Steel Cage match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship with Hulk Hogan defending against Vader. Ric Flair wrestled "Macho Man" Randy Savage in a Lifeguard match, a Triangle Tag Team match for the WCW World Tag Team Titles took place between Harlem Heat, The Nasty Boys, and the Blue Bloods, Sting defended the WCW United States Championship against Meng, The Renegade defended the WCW World Television Championship against Paul Orndorff, Jim Duggan faced off against Kamala, and Diamond Dallas Page continued his feud against Dave Sullivan.

World War 3 was an annual PPV event produced by WCW. The PPV's title also was the name of its signature match, a three-ring, sixty-man battle royal. The inaugural World War 3 match was contested for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, which had been stripped from The Giant due to the outcome of his match with Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc '95. Other matches included Ric Flair vs Sting, Lex Luger vs Randy Savage, Kensuke Sasaki defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Chris Benoit, Big Bubba Rogers vs Jim Duggan, and Johnny B. Badd defending he WCW World TV Championship against Diamond Dallas Page. WCW released the World War 3 events on home video the following year, with the packaging for the first three releases reflecting the year that the video was released and not the year that the actual event took place, e.g. World War 3 1995 was released on VHS as World War 3 '96.

Slamboree 1994 took place on May 22, 1994 from the Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Assassin, Ole Anderson, Harley Race, Ernie ladd, The Crusher, and Dick the Bruiser were all inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame. The main event was a singles match for the vacant WCW International World Heavyweight Championship between Vader and Sting. Originally Rick Rude was to challenge Vader for the title, however he suffered a career ending back injury and was replaced by Sting. The Nasty Boys faced Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan in defense of their WCW World Tag Team Championships. Ric Flair defended the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Barry Windham. 4 matches took place on the under card.

Fall Brawl 1994: War Games took place on September 18, 1994 from the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, Virginia. The main event was the annual War Games match in which Team Rhodes (The Nasty Boys, Dusty Rhodes, and Dustin Rhodes) took on The Stud Stable (Terry Funk, Arn Anderson, Bunkhouse Buck, and Col. Robert Parker). This match was re-broadcast on the final edition of WCW WorldWide. Sting, The Guardian Angel, and Vader wrestled in a Triangle Elimination match, and Pretty Wonderful defended the WCW World tag Team Championships against Stars and Stripes. Steve Austin was scheduled to take on Rick Steamboat for his WCW US Heavyweight Championship, however Steamboat was injured, fired, and then retired. Austin got the belt by forfeit and then had to defend it against a mystery opponent. In a Loser Leaves WCW match, Kevin Sullivan took on Cactus Jack.

Spring Stampede 1994 took place on April 17, 1994 from the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, Illinois. The main event was Ric Flair defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Ricky Steamboat. other matches included The Boss vs Vader, Dustin Rhodes vs Bunkhouse Buck in a Bunkhouse match, Rick Rude defending the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, Steve Austin defending the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against The Great Muta, The Nasty Boys defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Cactus Jack and Maxx Payne in a Chicago Street Fight match, and Johnny B. Badd wrestled Diamond Dallas page.

SuperBrawl IV took place on February 20, 1994 from the Albany Civic Center in Albany, Georgia. This event, along with SuperBrawl Revenge, was one of only two SuperBrawls never released on home video. The main event was Ric Flair defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch match against Vader. The second main event was a Thundercage match between the team of Steve Austin, Rick Rude, and Paul Orndorff against the team of Sting, Brian Pillman, and Dustin Rhodes. The Nasty Boys defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne and Lord Steven Regal defended the WCW World TV Championship against Arn Anderson. Undercard matches included Johnny B. Badd vs Jimmy Garvin, Terry Taylor vs Diamond Dallas Page, Jim Steele vs The Equalizer, and Harlem Heat vs Thunder & Lightning.

Bash at the Beach 1994 took place on July 17, 1994 from the Orlando Arena in Orlando, Florida. This marked the fist PPV appearance of Hulk Hogan in the WCW. The main event was Hulk Hogan with Mr. T and Jimmy Hart challenging Ric Flair for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Other matches included Steve Austin defending the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against Ricky Steamboat, Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Pretty Wonderful, The Guardian Angel vs Vader, Terry Funk & Bunkhouse Buck vs Arn Anderson & Dustin Rhodes, and Lord Steven Regal defending the WCW World TV Championship against Johnny B. The main event was a WarGames match featuring the team of Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Dustin Rhodes, and The Shockmaster versus Sid Vicious, Vader, and Harlem Heat (Kole & Kane). The WCW International World Heavyweight Championship was defended by Ric Flair against Rick Rude while the WCW World Tag Team Championships were defended by Arn Anderson & Paul Roma against The Nasty Boys. Other matches included Yoshi Kwan vs Cactus Jack, Shanghai Pierce vs Ice Train, 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell against The Equalizer and Paul Orndorff, and Rick Steamboat defending the WCW TV Championship against Lord Steven Regal.

Halloween Havoc 1993 took place on October 24, 1993 from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The main event was Vader vs Cactus Jack in a Texas Death match. Rick Rude defended the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch against Ric Flair, Dustin Rhodes defended the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against Steve Austin, Lord Steven Regal defended the WCW World TV Championship against Davey Boy Smith, and the WCW World Tag Team Championships were defended by 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell against The Nasty Boys. Other matches included Sting vs Sid Vicious and Paul Orndorf vs Ricky Steamboat.

Beach Blast 1993 took place on July 18, 1993 and emanated from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. The main event was Sting & Davey Boy Smith versus Sid Vicious & Big Van Vader. Barry Windham defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Rick Flair and a 30 minute Iron Man Challenge was held between Rick Rude and Dustin Rhodes for the vacant WCW United States Championship belt. Two other title matches took place as well with The Hollywood Blondes defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Paul Roma & Arn Anderson and Paul Orndorff defending the WCW World TV Championship against Ron Simmons.

Battlebowl was a one-time professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WCW. It was made up of tag team matches in which the partners were randomly drawn in a "Lethal Lottery" and a team had to work together to advance to the Battlebowl Battle Royal. Previous versions of Battlebowl had taken place at Starrcade 1991 and Starrcade 1992. It took place on November 20, 1993 from the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida. The last Battlebowl was held at Slamboree 1996 under the name of Lord of the Ring.

Starrcade '93: 10th Anniversary was the eleventh annual Starrcade. It took place on December 27, 1993 from the Independence Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. The main event was between Vader and Ric Flair for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The match was made as a result of the double stabbing that occurred between Arn Anderson and Sid Vicious in October. Flair replaced Vicious in his match against Vader. The event also included The Nasty Boys against Sting and Road Warrior Hawk for the WCW World Tag Team Championship, Rick Rude against The Boss (replacing Davey Boy Smith) for the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship, and a two out of three falls match between Dustin Rhodes and Steve Austin for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.

WCW Saturday Night was a weekly Saturday night TV show on TBS produced by World Championship Wrestling. The program existed through various incarnations under different names before becoming WCW Saturday Night in 1992. Although initially the anchor show of the Ted Turner-backed wrestling company, the September 1995 premiere of WCW Monday Nitro airing on sister station Turner Network Television usurped the show's once preeminent position in the company, as the primary source of storyline development and Pay-Per-View buildup. The show's place in the company was further devalued by the advent of WCW Thunder in 1998, airing on TBS and providing the secondary wrestling and storyline development that WCW Saturday Night had produced in the wake of Nitro's burgeoning three-hour long format. Once the cornerstone of the WCW wrestling empire, WCW Saturday Night ended its run in 2000 as the company struggled creatively to meet the demands of producing over six hours of new broadcast material on a weekly basis. The rights to WCW Saturday Night now belong to WWE as a result of that company's 2001 purchase of WCW.
