Night of Champions (2014) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on September 21, 2014 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.[1] It was the eighth annual Night of Champions event. It was the fifth annual Hell in a Cell event. The main feud heading into Hell in a Cell was between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton over the vacant WWE Championship. A second main event featured John Cena returning from injury much earlier than anticipated to face Alberto Del Rio for his World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H defended the WWE Championship against Jeff Hardy in a singles match. The Big Show and The Undertaker competed in a Last Man Standing match while the Santino Marella defended his Intercontinental Championship against a fan vote between Honky Tonk Man, Roddy Piper, or Goldust. Matt Hardy defended the ECW Championship against Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio fought Kane in a fan voted match.

There's "total nonstop action" in this behemoth pay-per-view event filmed in 2007 in the suburbs of Atlanta, an all-star, high-octane contest featuring some of the biggest TNA wrestling stars on the circuit. Six professional wrestling matches were featured at the event. The main event was the annual 30-man Royal Rumble match, which featured wrestlers from both brands. No Mercy (2002) was a PPV presented by Subway that took place on October 20, 2002, at the Alltel Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. No Way Out (2002) was a professional wrestling PPV that took place on February 17, 2002 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The biggest angle for No Way Out was when Vince McMahon revealed that he would unleash the New World Order (nWo) upon the World Wrestling Federation in an attempt to "kill (his) creation". The Main Event saw Chris Jericho defend the Undisputed Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Unforgiven (2002) was a PPV presented by Castrol GTX that took place on September 22, 2002, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was the fifth annual WWE Unforgiven event. The main event from the SmackDown! brand featured WWE Champion Brock Lesnar fighting The Undertaker to defend the title. The main event from the Raw brand featured World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defending against Rob Van Dam for the title. Four matches were featured on the undercard. SuperBrawl Revenge took place on February 18, 2001 from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the last Superbrawl event and the penultimate WCW pay-per-view before the WWF purchased WCW in March 2001. Along with SuperBrawl IV, it was one of only two SuperBrawls never released on home video. The main event featured Scott Steiner defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Nash in a Falls Count Anywhere Two out of Three Falls Retirement match. Also at the event was Sting vs The Total Package in a Lumberjacks with Casts match. Backlash: In Your House was a PPV presented by Castrol GTX, which took place on April 25, 1999 at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island. St. Valentine's Day Massacre was the 27th PPV under the In Your House name from the World Wrestling Federation. It took place on February 14, 1999 at The Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee. Eight professional wrestling matches were scheduled on the event's card. The first main event was a Last Man Standing match for the WWF Championship between The Rock and Mankind. WWF Capital Carnage was a UK-only PPV event that took place on December 6, 1998 at the London Arena in London, England. The main event was a fatal four-way match between Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Mankind, and Kane. The WWF Championship belt was defended by The Rock in a singles match with X-Pac. Ken Shamrock defended the Intercontinental Belt against Steve Blackman. Jim Ross suffered his second Bells palsy attack on-air during this event. He did not officially call matches again for the WWE until the main event of WrestleMania XV.

WWF Mayhem in Manchester was a United Kingdom-only professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) that took place on 4 April 1998 at the Nynex Arena in Manchester, England.[1] The event was released in an edited form on VHS in North America and in the UK. The Main Event saw The Undertaker face of against his brother Kane. Also the WWF Championship was defended when Stone Cold wrestled Triple H.

Survivor Series (1998) was the twelfth annual Survivor Series. It was presented by Nestlé Crunch and took place on November 15, 1998 at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Fourteen matches were scheduled on the event's card, a noticeably higher number than most pay-per-view events because the main focus of the card was a tournament for the vacant WWF Championship titled Deadly Game. It was the first tournament held with the WWF Championship on the line in ten years, the last being at WrestleMania IV. Aside from the tournament, two other championship matches occurred: the first defense of the WWF Women's Championship since it had been reactivated and a triple threat tag team match for the WWF Tag Team Championship. This event was also the first Survivor Series not to feature the traditional Survivor Series elimination-style tag team match.

Royal Rumble (1998) was the eleventh annual Royal Rumble. It was presented by MCI's 1-800-COLLECT, and took place on January 18, 1998 at the San Jose Arena in San Jose, California. No Way Out was the twentieth pay-per-view (PPV) event under the In Your House name. It took place on February 15, 1998 at the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas and was presented by Western Union. It was the first of a series of In Your House events which later became the title of annual PPVs, replacing the method at the time of making new names for all events aside from the 'Big Four' (the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and the Survivor Series) and King of the Ring. However, because later events did not take place in Texas, it was truncated to No Way Out and would not become a regular feature until 2000. Shawn Michaels did not appear in the main event as advertised, owing to a severe back injury that resulted in his first retirement after the following month's WrestleMania XIV. He was replaced by Savio Vega. The main event was an "unsanctioned" 8 man tag match featuring Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Cactus jack, and Chainsaw Charlie vs. HHH, Savio Vega, Billy Gunn, and Road Dogg.

It was presented by Hasbro Interactive's Glover for the Nintendo 64 and took place on December 13, 1998 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Rock defended the WWF Championship versus Mankind while The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) defended the Tag Team Championships against The Corporation (Big Boss Man and Ken Shamrock).

It was presented by 10-10-321. It was the first pay-per-view titled Judgment Day as WWF were uniquely naming all pay-per-views under the In Your House banner

In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede took place on July 6, 1997 at the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta. The card of the event featured four matches. The main event was a ten-man tag team match featuring The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Owen Hart, British Bulldog and Brian Pillman) against Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Goldust and the Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal). In Your House 13: Final Four was the thirteenth In Your House PPV. The event was presented by Western Union and took place on February 16, 1997 at the UTC Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee. King of the Ring (1997) was the fifth annual King of the Ring. It was presented by Super Soaker and took place on June 8, 1997 at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The main event was a standard wrestling match for the WWF Championship. The Undertaker fought Faarooq for the title. The undercard featured the 1997 King of the Ring tournament.

Survivor Series (1997) was the eleventh annual Survivor Series.. It was the third consecutive Survivor Series presented by Milton Bradley's Karate Fighters, and took place on November 9, 1997 at the Molson Centre in Montreal, Quebec. The tagline "Gang Rulz" refers to the various wrestling stables that feuded with each other coming to this event. The main event was a standard wrestling match for the WWF Championship, in which Bret Hart defended the title against Shawn Michaels. It would be the last of three WWF Championship matches between the two, who had previously headlined the 1992 Survivor Series and WrestleMania XII together. The infamous "Montreal Screwjob" occurred during this event.

Ground Zero: In Your House was presented by Stridex, and took place on September 7, 1997 at Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky. This was the first three-hour In Your House pay-per-view. Seven matches were scheduled on the card. One of the main event matches saw Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker wrestle in their first ever one-on-one match in the WWF. In the other main event match, Bret Hart fought The Patriot to for the WWF Championship.

Royal Rumble (1997) was the tenth annual Royal Rumble. It was presented by Starburst Fruit Twists and took place on January 19, 1997 from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The attendance of 60,525 is the highest recorded in the Royal Rumble's history. The main event was between Shawn Michaels and Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship. The main matches on the undercard were the Royal Rumble match, which Stone Cold Steve Austin won after last eliminating Bret Hart, Vader versus The Undertaker, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley versus Goldust for the WWF Intercontinental Championship.

SummerSlam (1997) was the tenth annual SummerSlam and the third presented by Stridex. It took place on August 3, 1997 at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The featured rivalry heading into the event involved WWF champion The Undertaker and Bret Hart. On the July 7 episode of Raw is War at Edmonton, Alberta, Hart was announced as the number one contender for the WWF title. In an interview with Vince McMahon, Hart said that if he did not win the title at Summerslam, he would not wrestle on American soil again.

WrestleMania 13 was the thirteenth annual WrestleMania. The event was presented by PlayStation and held on March 23, 1997 at the Rosemont Horizon in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. The main event was a no disqualification match between The Undertaker and Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship. SummerSlam (1996) was the ninth annual SummerSlam. It was presented by Stridex. It took place on August 18, 1996 at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The Main event for the event saw Shawn Michaels fight against Vader for the WWF Championship. The other talked about matchup had Mankind fight Undertaker in a Boiler Room Brawl.

In Your House 6: Rage In The Cage took place on February 18, 1996 at the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky. Six matches aired on the broadcast. The main event saw Bret Hart put the WWF Championship on the line against Diesel in a Steel Cage match.

In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies took place on April 28, 1996 and emanated from the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska. The main event of the show saw Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel in a No Holds Barred match for the WWF Championship. Other matches on the card included The Bodydonnas defending the WWF Tag Team Championship against The Godwinns and The Ultimate Warrior defending his WWF Intercontinental Championship against Goldust. The event marked the last televised appearances of the performers behind the Diesel and Razor Ramon characters in the WWF until 2002. It would not be the final portrayal of the Diesel and Razor Ramon characters in he WWF, however: Glenn Jacobs and Rick Bognar delivered a short-lived portrayal of the characters from late 1996 to early 1997, and Nash revived the Diesel character for one night only at the 2011 Royal Rumble.

The main attraction of this WrestleMania was when WWF president "Rowdy" Roddy Piper had announced that reigning champion Bret Hart must defend the title against Shawn Michaels in the first ever "WWF Iron Man Match." Michaels had earned the opportunity to face Hart by winning the 1996 Royal Rumble, and had also defeated Owen Hart at In Your House 6 for the right to keep the WrestleMania title shot

In Your House 8: Beware of Dog was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), that originally took place on May 26, 1996 from the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina. Due to a severe thunderstorm, the power went out during the event, resulting in only two matches being shown on pay-per-view (PPV). The televised event was rescheduled as "Beware of Dog 2" and took place on May 28, 1996 at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina. The two matches televised from the May 26 event were shown again at the beginning of the rescheduled pay-per-view. To date, this is the only WWE pay-per-view event to ever be held in the state of South Carolina.

In Your House 11: Buried Alive was presented by PlayStation, which took place on October 20, 1996 at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was the eleventh pay-per-view of the In Your House series. The main event had The Undertaker square up against Mankind in a Buried Alive match. The WWF Championship was also defended at the event as Sycho Sid fought against Vader. Owen Hart & The British Bulldog defended the Tag Team Championship Belts against The Smoking Gunns.

Uncensored 1995 took place on March 19, 1995 from the Tupelo Coliseum in Tupelo, Mississippi. The gimmick behind this PPV was that the WCW Board of Directors were un-involved, thus, each match on the card was ostensibly unsanctioned, meaning they were not subject to the normal rules of WCW-sanctioned wrestling matches. Since the matches were unsanctioned, no titles were officially on the line at this event. The main event was a Leather Strap match between Hulk Hogan and Big Van Vader. A Falls Count Anywhere Texas Tornado Tag Team match took place between Harlem Heat and The Nasty Boys. Other bouts included Sting vs Big Bubba Rogers, Avalanche vs Macho Man Randy Savage, Johnny B. Badd vs Arn Anderson in a Boxer vs Wrestler match, and a King of the Road match (held in the back of a moving truck) between Dustin Rhodes and The Blacktop Bully.

In Your House 3: Triple Header took place on September 24, 1995 at the Saginaw Civic Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Seven matches aired on the broadcast. In the main event, three championships were on the line: Diesel's WWF Championship, Shawn Michaels' WWF Intercontinental Championship, and Yokozuna and Owen Hart's WWF Tag Team Championship. If Diesel had been pinned, he would have lost the WWF Championship and if Michaels had been pinned he would have lost the Intercontinental Championship. The British Bulldog replaced Hart in the match, as Hart with his wife at the hospital, as she was giving birth to their second child.

In Your House 5: Seasons Beatings took place on December 17, 1995 at the Hersheypark Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Six matches aired on the broadcast.

Survivor Series (1995) was the ninth annual Survivor Series pay-per-view. It was sponsored by the Milton Bradley Company. It took place on November 19, 1995 at the US Air Arena in Landover, Maryland, and was the first Survivor Series program not to take place on either Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving night. The main event was a No DQ match for the WWF Championship. Diesel defended the title against Bret Hart. The undercard featured Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson, British Bulldog and Sycho Sid versus Yokozuna, Owen Hart, Razor Ramon and Dean Douglas in a four-on-four elimination match. The Darkside (The Undertaker, Savio Vega, Fatu and Henry Godwinn) versus The Royals (King Mabel, Jerry Lawler, Isaac Yankem and Hunter Hearst Helmsley) in a four-on-four elimination match. Goldust versus Bam Bam Bigelow and Bertha Faye, Aja Kong, Tomoko Watanabe and Lioness Asuka versus Alundra Blayze, Kyoko Inoue, Sakie Hasegawa and Chaparita Asari in a four-on-four elimination match.

In Your House 4: "Great White North" took place on October 22, 1995 at the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg, Manitoba It was the fourth pay-per-view of the In Your House series and the first WWF pay-per-view to take place in Canada since WrestleMania VI in 1990. Seven professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.

WCW All Nighter is a late night special that originally aired at midnight on Saturday morning January 21, 1995. The show opened with Tony Schiavone, Bobby Heenan, Larry Zbyszko, Gene Okerlund, Gordon Solie and Dusty Rhodes in the Omni Hotel in Atlanta. During the broadcast, they counted down the 10 best Clash of the Champions matches.

SuperBrawl V took place on February 19, 1995 from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The main event was Hulk Hogan defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Vader. Another highly promoted match included Sting and Randy Savage wrestling the team of Avalanche and Big Bubba Rogers. Undercard matches included The Blacktop Bully vs Dustin Rhodes, Harlem Heat defending the WCW World Tag team Championships against The Nasty Boys, Kevin Sullivan vs Dave Sullivan, Jim Duggan vs Bunkhouse Buck, and Alex Wright vs Paul Roma.

Slamboree 1994 took place on May 22, 1994 from the Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Assassin, Ole Anderson, Harley Race, Ernie ladd, The Crusher, and Dick the Bruiser were all inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame. The main event was a singles match for the vacant WCW International World Heavyweight Championship between Vader and Sting. Originally Rick Rude was to challenge Vader for the title, however he suffered a career ending back injury and was replaced by Sting. The Nasty Boys faced Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan in defense of their WCW World Tag Team Championships. Ric Flair defended the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Barry Windham. 4 matches took place on the under card.

Fall Brawl 1994: War Games took place on September 18, 1994 from the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, Virginia. The main event was the annual War Games match in which Team Rhodes (The Nasty Boys, Dusty Rhodes, and Dustin Rhodes) took on The Stud Stable (Terry Funk, Arn Anderson, Bunkhouse Buck, and Col. Robert Parker). This match was re-broadcast on the final edition of WCW WorldWide. Sting, The Guardian Angel, and Vader wrestled in a Triangle Elimination match, and Pretty Wonderful defended the WCW World tag Team Championships against Stars and Stripes. Steve Austin was scheduled to take on Rick Steamboat for his WCW US Heavyweight Championship, however Steamboat was injured, fired, and then retired. Austin got the belt by forfeit and then had to defend it against a mystery opponent. In a Loser Leaves WCW match, Kevin Sullivan took on Cactus Jack.

Spring Stampede 1994 took place on April 17, 1994 from the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, Illinois. The main event was Ric Flair defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Ricky Steamboat. other matches included The Boss vs Vader, Dustin Rhodes vs Bunkhouse Buck in a Bunkhouse match, Rick Rude defending the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, Steve Austin defending the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against The Great Muta, The Nasty Boys defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Cactus Jack and Maxx Payne in a Chicago Street Fight match, and Johnny B. Badd wrestled Diamond Dallas page.

SuperBrawl IV took place on February 20, 1994 from the Albany Civic Center in Albany, Georgia. This event, along with SuperBrawl Revenge, was one of only two SuperBrawls never released on home video. The main event was Ric Flair defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch match against Vader. The second main event was a Thundercage match between the team of Steve Austin, Rick Rude, and Paul Orndorff against the team of Sting, Brian Pillman, and Dustin Rhodes. The Nasty Boys defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne and Lord Steven Regal defended the WCW World TV Championship against Arn Anderson. Halloween Havoc 1994 took place on October 23, 1994 from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The main event was a WarGames match featuring the team of Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Dustin Rhodes, and The Shockmaster versus Sid Vicious, Vader, and Harlem Heat (Kole & Kane). The WCW International World Heavyweight Championship was defended by Ric Flair against Rick Rude while the WCW World Tag Team Championships were defended by Arn Anderson & Paul Roma against The Nasty Boys. Other matches included Yoshi Kwan vs Cactus Jack, Shanghai Pierce vs Ice Train, 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell against The Equalizer and Paul Orndorff, and Rick Steamboat defending the WCW TV Championship against Lord Steven Regal.

Halloween Havoc 1993 took place on October 24, 1993 from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The main event was Vader vs Cactus Jack in a Texas Death match. Rick Rude defended the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch against Ric Flair, Dustin Rhodes defended the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against Steve Austin, Lord Steven Regal defended the WCW World TV Championship against Davey Boy Smith, and the WCW World Tag Team Championships were defended by 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell against The Nasty Boys. Other matches included Sting vs Sid Vicious and Paul Orndorf vs Ricky Steamboat.

Beach Blast 1993 took place on July 18, 1993 and emanated from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. The main event was Sting & Davey Boy Smith versus Sid Vicious & Big Van Vader. Barry Windham defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Rick Flair and a 30 minute Iron Man Challenge was held between Rick Rude and Dustin Rhodes for the vacant WCW United States Championship belt. Two other title matches took place as well with The Hollywood Blondes defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Paul Roma & Arn Anderson and Paul Orndorff defending the WCW World TV Championship against Ron Simmons.

WCW/New Japan Supershow III (known as Fantastic Story in Tokyo Dome in Japan) took place on January 4, 1993 from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. Events included Sting vs Hiroshi Hase, Ron Simmons vs Tony Halme, Ultimo Dragon vs Jushin Liger for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, Dustin Rhodes & Scott Norton vs Masa Saito & Shinya Hashimoto, and IWGP Heavyweight Champion The Great Muta defending his title against Masahiro Chono.

Battlebowl was a one-time professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WCW. It was made up of tag team matches in which the partners were randomly drawn in a "Lethal Lottery" and a team had to work together to advance to the Battlebowl Battle Royal. Previous versions of Battlebowl had taken place at Starrcade 1991 and Starrcade 1992. It took place on November 20, 1993 from the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida. The last Battlebowl was held at Slamboree 1996 under the name of Lord of the Ring.

Starrcade '93: 10th Anniversary was the eleventh annual Starrcade. It took place on December 27, 1993 from the Independence Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. The main event was between Vader and Ric Flair for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The match was made as a result of the double stabbing that occurred between Arn Anderson and Sid Vicious in October. Flair replaced Vicious in his match against Vader. The event also included The Nasty Boys against Sting and Road Warrior Hawk for the WCW World Tag Team Championship, Rick Rude against The Boss (replacing Davey Boy Smith) for the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship, and a two out of three falls match between Dustin Rhodes and Steve Austin for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.

Slamboree 1993: A Legends' Reunion was the first annual Slamboree professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by WCW. It took place on May 23, 1993 at The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. A "Legends Ceremony" occurred at the event, and introduced several legends. The WCW Hall of Fame induction ceremony also occurred, and Lou Thesz, Mr. Wrestling II, Verne Gagne, and Eddie Graham were the inductees. The PPV also saw the reformation of the Four Horsemen, now consisting of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and new member Paul Roma. The main event was Big Van Vader defending the WCW World Heavyweight Title against Davey Boy Smith. Barry Windham defended the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Arn Anderson and The Hollywood Blondes defended the NWA & WCW World Tag Team Championships against Dos Hombres in a steel cage match.

SuperBrawl III took place on February 21, 1993 from the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina. This event marked the return of Ric Flair to WCW. The main event was Big Van Vader defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting in a White Castle of Fear Strap match. The Great Muta defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes defended the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against Maxx Payne. Other matches include The Rock N' Roll Express vs The Heavenly Bodies (from Smokey Mountain Wrestling), Cactus Jack vs Paul Orndorff in a Fallas Count Anywhere match, Davey Boy Smith vs Bill irwin, and Chris Benoit vs 2 Cold Scorpio.

Starrcade (1992): BattleBowl: The Lethal Lottery II took place on December 28, 1992 from The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. The main event was the BattleBowl Battle Royal for the BattleBowl Ring. The final match for the King of Cable tournament was also held during this PPV featuring Sting vs Big Van Vader. Other matches included The Great Muta defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Masahiro Chono, Ron Simmons defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Steve Williams, and Shane Douglas with Ricky Steamboat defending the NWA & WCW World Tag team Championships against Barry Windham and Brian Pillman.

The Great American Bash (1992) took place on July 12, 1992 at the Albany Civic Center in Albany, Georgia. The main event was a tournament for the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championship between the teams of Steve Austin with Rick Rude, Dustin Rhodes with Barry Windham, Jushin Liger with Brian Pillman, The Fabulous Freebirds, Hiroshi Hase with Shinya Hashimoto, Nikita Koloff with Ricky Steamboat, and Terry Gordy with Steve Williams. A second main event was Sting defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Big Van Vader.

Halloween Havoc 1992 took place on October 25, 1992 from the Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The main event was Jake Roberts versus Sting in a Coal Miner's Glove match. A second main event was a title defense of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Ron Simmons against The Barbarian. Steve Williams and Terry Gordy were to challenge the NWA & WCW Wold Tag Team Champions, Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes, however Gordy no-showed the event which led to Steve Austin subbing for him. Another substitution occured when Rick Rude chose not to wrestle twice and defend his WCW US Heavyweight Championship. This led to Big Van Vader defending Rude's title against Nikita Koloff.

Beach Blast 1992 took place on June 20, 1992 and emanated from the Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama. The main event was a WCW World Tag Team Championship match featuring the Steiner Brothers defending against the Miracle Violence Connection (Terry Gordy & Steve Williams). Other primary matches were Ricky Steamboat versus Rick Rude in a 30 minute Iron Man match, Sting vs Cactus Jack in a Falls Count Anywhere match, and Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham & Nikita Koloff versus The Dangerous Alliance with Ole Anderson as the special guest referee. There were 3 undercard matches as well as a bikini contest between Missy Hyatt and Madusa.

WrestleWar 1992: WarGames took place on May 17, 1992 from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida. The main event was Sting's Squadron (Sting, Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, and Nikita Koloff) versus The Dangerous Alliance (Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, and Larry Zbyszko) in a WarGames match. Also on the card was Brian Pillman defending the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship against Tom Zenk, and the Steiner Brothers versus Tatsumi Fujinami & Takayuki Iizuka for #1 contendership for the IWGP Tag Team Championships. 5 other matches took place on the undercard.

SuperBrawl II took place on February 29, 1992 from the Milwaukee Theatre at the MECCA in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lex Luger defended the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, Rick Rude defended the WCW US Heavyweight Championship against Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against the Steiner Brothers, Ron Simmons fought Cactus Jack, Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes wrestled Steve Austin & Larry Zbyszko, and Jushin Liger defended the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship against Brian Pillman.

WrestleWar 1991: WarGames took place on February 24, 1991 from the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the first PPV after WCW left the NWA. The main event was The Four Horsemen and Larry Zbyszko against Sting, Brian Pillman, and The Steiner Brothers in a WarGames match. Also on the card was The Freebirds challenging Doom for the WCW World Tag Team Championship, Dan Spivey challenging Lex Luger for the WCW US Heavyweight Championship, Stan Hansen vs Big Van Vader, Dustin Rhodes vs Buddy Landel, and five other matches.

Royal Rumble (1991) was the fourth annual Royal Rumble professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It took place on January 19, 1991 at the Miami Arena in Miami, Florida. The main event was the 1991 Royal Rumble match won by Hulk Hogan, who last eliminated Earthquake to win the match. Featured matches on the undercard were The Ultimate Warrior versus Sgt. Slaughter for the WWF Championship, Ted DiBiase and Virgil versus Dusty Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes and The Mountie versus Koko B. Ware.

SuperBrawl 1991 took place on May 19, 1991 from the Bayfront Arena in St. Petersburg, Florida. The main event was WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair in a double title defense against NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tatsumi Fujinami. Arn Anderson also defended the WCW World Television Championship against Bobby Eaton while the Steiner Brothers defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Sting & Lex Luger. Other matches included El Gigante vs Sid Vicious, Brian Pillman vs Barry Windham, Tim Parker vs Oz, Big Josh vs Black Bart, Dustin Rhodes vs Terrance Taylor, and 2 other matches.

The Great American Bash (1991) took place on July 14, 1991 at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The card was originally to be highlighted by a Steel cage match between Ric Flair and Lex Luger for the WCW World title. Two weeks before the show, WCW Executive VP Jim Herd fired Flair over a contract dispute, stripping him of the title. Flair took possession of the WCW World title and brought it to the World Wrestling Federation with him. A new belt could not be readied in time for the event, so the company was forced to improvise. A Championship Wrestling title belt that was in the possession of Dusty Rhodes was used and a metal plate with "WCW World Heavyweight Champion" was attached to the front. The main event ended up being WCW US Champ Lex Luger vs Varry Windham for the WCW World Title. On the undercard was a match featuring Steve Austin & Terry Taylor versus Bobby Eaton & P.N. News in a Capture-The-Flag scaffold match, which was Austin's first PPV match.

The main event was Lex Luger defending the WCW World Heavyweight CHampionship in a two out of three falls match against Ron Simmons. Other matches included The Enforcers defending the WCW World Tag Titles against The Patriots, the WCW Halloween Phantom vs Tom Zenk, Brian Pillman vs Richard Morton for the first WCW Light Heavyweight Championship, WCW TV Champ Steve Austin defending his title against Dustin Rhodes, and El Gigante, Sting, the Steiner Brothers, versus Abdullah the Butcher, The Diamond Studd, Cactus Jack, and Big Van Vader in a Chamber of Horrors match.

Starrcade '91: Battlebowl: The Lethal Lottery was the ninth annual Starrcade professional wrestling pay-per-view event. It was the fourth Starrcade event produced by WCW, and it took place on December 29, 1991 from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. The event solely featured the Battlebowl battle royal and its qualifying matches. Forty wrestlers were chosen at random to form ten pairs of tag teams. Each pair competed in a match, and the winning team advanced to Battlebowl. This was the first Starrcade event to not feature Ric Flair.

January 13, 1993 in Milwaukee. This was the last Clash for announcer Jim Ross who shortly after this event was fired by WCW and joined the WWF. Originally, it was scheduled to be Sting, Dustin Rhodes, Ron Simmons, and Van Hammer against Big Van Vader, Barry Windham, The Barbarian, and Rick Rude; due to injuries, Hammer and Rude dropped out and Orndorff took Rude's place. Earlier on the show, Vader's team got rid of Barbarian, and Vader injured Simmons. Cactus Jack came in during the match, siding with Sting and Rhodes, thus turning face. Johnny B. Badd replaced Erik Watts, where the storyline was that he was suspended from WCW, due to an altercation with Arn Anderson. Tony Atlas replaced Hammer in the arm-wrestling contest.
