Mark is having that dream moment when Ashley, the most popular girl in his class, asks HIM to drive her to an exclusive pool party. Mark's excitement comes to a quick halt when he comes down from cloud nine and remembers one minor detail - he doesn't have his driver's license! He's tried five times and five times has failed. He needs to make this happen! And Glenn Bufferton, known for easy testing, is just the DMV instructor to give Mark his driving street cred. Or. so he thinks! On the verge of road warrior victory, Mark's plans are thrown off course when Glenn learns that his wife is leaving him. A woeful DMV instructor makes for a negative test outcome. So with his license on the line, Mark agrees to help Glenn rescue his marriage. With his vertically-challenged best friend Russell in tow, the trio hit the road on a cross-town adventure that may make survival the biggest test of all!
The series followed Henrietta "Hettie" Hubble, (Mildred's younger cousin), through her years at Cackles Academy. Mildred is seen in the first episode accompanying her cousin to Cackles, before magically returning home. Hettie quickly becomes friends with Mona Hallow (Ethel's younger sister) and Crescentmoon "Cressie" Winterchild. The new enemy of Cackles is filled by Belladonna Bindweed and the sidekick is filled by Cynthia Horrocks. Miss Hardbroom and Miss Cackle return, and are joined by new members of staff Caspian Bloom, Miss Swoop and Miss Widget/Miss Nightingale.
Spoons was a comedy sketch show first broadcast on the United Kingdom's Channel 4 from 30 September 2005. In the United States, Spoons is broadcast on BBC America. The relationship themed show combined recent trends in sketch shows — dark content, strong language, and recurring catchphrases. It was produced by Endemol owned production company, Zeppotron. Channel 4 didn't recommission the show for second series due to low ratings and bad reviews. The programme appeared at around the same time as two other similar sketch series based on relationships - Five's Swinging and BBC Three's Man Stroke Woman.
Two childhood friends - Darren and Gary - re-unite for the funeral of an old acquaintance. Gary boasts of the life he's made in London during the four years he's been away. Darren is still living in the same town they're from. It doesn't take long before the timid and easily-lead Darren, drawn in by his charismatic friend, finds himself in trouble as the pair check out old haunts, mates and ex-girlfriends.
