A thriller about deceit and the struggle for power within Eastern European mafia gangs living in exile in Sweden. Swedish fisherman Arne rescues a young Polish woman, Irena, after a mysterious incident at sea. Two people, both with a past, both determined never to fall in love again, are slowly drawn to each other. Irena has to learn to distinguish friend from foe. Arne must confront his nightmares to save the woman he loves.
Sofie is an ordinary Norwegian girl. One day she recieves a video tape on which a certain Alberto Knox talks directly to her from ancient Greece. They then start to meet at different occasions and throughout the film, Alberto takes Sofie on an odyssey of the history of philosophy, from ancient Greece, over the Roman empire, the Middle ages, the renaissance, the enlightenment, the big revolutions and up to today. Throughout this journey, they start to realise that they are only fictions of a story writer's imagination and start conceiving a plan for escaping into reality. (Written by Anders E Lundin )

"Herman", based on Lars Saabye Christensen's novel of the same name, tells the story of the young boy Herman who suddenly loses his hair and becomes bald at the age of eleven. He follows him through what is a very difficult period in his life, through big mood swings and irrational behaviour until he finally learns to accept himself for who he is.
Lasse & Geir, two suburban boys in their late teens, kick up a row on the bus into town, making the driver call the police. They get arrested and have to spend the night in jail. The next morning they are sent home - Geir to his alcoholic mother, Lasse to his disillusioned and abusive father.
