A teen raised in the Netherlands by her single mother travels to their native Bosnia to visit the father who left them, as he’s been admitted to a rural hospital. Joined by her cousin and his best friend, they hit the road.

A young writer, years after coming to a hotel on a few romantic weeks with his partner Marija, founds himself still stuck at the hotel unable to write and form connections, isolating himself in a small room. After nights and days spend with different women in superficial relationships, he reconnects with his old friend Amar, and touches upon the story of what happened with Marija on a couple of nights while drinking in a bar.
