Alla devoted most of her life to her ex-husbands, son and daughter. She works as a tutor while continuing to support her adult children and husbands. Relatives come to her for lunch every day, not at all interested in Alla herself. In one of these family dinners, choking on potatoes, Alla almost dies, but "relatives" do not even notice this.
The young actress gets auditioned by a documentary filmmaker and is forced to immediately play a married couple with an actor who turns out to be her former.
An epic saga which takes place over a long time span from 1961 to 1991. From the midpoint of the story we view the friendship of four boys. In season main heroes are in their 20's, they are childhood friends, and for the sake of their friendship they are ready to sacrifice anything. Everyone has their own dreams, but their circumstances will take them on a difficult path and they will be forced into all kinds of underground economic dealings in the early 60s. And, worst of all - they are successful in this business. And the more successful they are, the further they get from their real dreams.
Tatyana is a forty-five year old teacher from Moscow who borrows a large sum of money to pay for her sick mother's operation. Sadly her mother dies, and Tatyana soon finds herself plunged into debt. Her financial situation spirals further out of control when she is ill advised by her friends to set up a cake stall at the local market, a venture, which, not surprisingly, fails. Tatyana is forced to sell her apartment and, after an argument with her niece with whom she has been staying, Tatyana is left with no job and nowhere to live.
A local female football team works together to get through hard times and overcome sexual prejudice. Their strength is tested when they lose not only the games, but also their beloved coach who was the core of their team. But they work together to seek financial support, achieve victories, and respect.
