According to Blade Runner 2049’s official timeline, this failure leads to cities shutting down, financial and trade markets being thrown into chaos, and food supplies dwindling. There’s no proof as to what caused the blackouts, but Replicants — the bio-engineered robots featured in the original Blade Runner, are blamed.

The film not only depicts an actual 3 dimensional portrait of Rapace being intricately sculpted, but also acts as a portrait of her in itself, by acting as a metaphor for the various chronological steps in the actor’s process. Flying Lotus, the highly acclaimed forward thinking musician and producer provides an exclusive soundtrack of 6 different previously unreleased material, which was born out of conversations between him and Throup at the beginning of the project.
"Clapping for the Wrong Reasons" captures Glover as he walks around his L.A. mansion interacting with his various assortment of hanger-ons, including recording music with electronic musician/producer Flying Lotus and even "Boy Meets World" star Danielle Fishel, who is seen picking fruit out of a tree as she recounts a bizarre dream she had.
