But Cunning Basava Raju prepares the puberty ceremony of Krishnaveni (Shobhana), Gopi's niece, and manages to hide a Thaali inside a flower garland. Gopi, as an uncle, puts the flower garland around Krishnaveni's neck and he gets married with her without knowing. Nagalakshmi complains against Basava Raju for arranging a child marriage, but the complaint is withdrawn. The rest of the story is what happens to Gopi and Nirmala.
David is an old prisoner, released after twenty-four years in a penitentiary for a crime he hasn't committed. The three men who framed him and sent him away, are now prominent citizens of his town. David had believed in his friend to bring up his son as the worst criminal and seek revenge from the men who put him away. On meeting him, David finds that his son is a Cop instead. Devastated, David continues on his own. When he is about to kill the three men, his son has vowed to protect the citizens under any circumstances. David and his son are at war..who will prevail?

Lakshmipathi is a carefree youth who searches a job. He comes to his sister Kasthuri's house, finds a job and fall for Dhanalakshmi, his sister's young daughter. Kasthuri decides to meet some astrologers and they say that if Lakshmipathi marries Dhanalakshmi, he will certainly die. Kasthuri evicts him from her house and Sivaraman, who is also in love with Dhanalakshmi, accommodates him without knowing his identity. Kasthuri convinces her daughter to forget him and later, Dhanalakshmi criticizes Lakshmipathi that he was not a well-educated. What transpires then forms the crux of the story.
