Night and Day is a British soap opera which was produced by Granada Television for LWT and ran on ITV from 2001 to 2003. Its theme-song, "Always & Forever", was sung by Kylie Minogue.

In this globe-trotting adventure, Marco Polo (Don Diamont) plays the famous 13th Century explorer who sets out from Italy to find his missing father, and along the way finds danger, excitement, and amazing discoveries at every turn. The supporting cast includes Oliver Reed, Jack Palance, and Herbert Lom.

When compulsive gambler Sir Giles Staverley has lost his estate and all his money playing dice, he realises that he only has one thing left of value: his daughter Serena. In a final game, he stakes his daughter's hand in marriage, convinced that this time he will not lose. Unfortunately, however, he does lose; to the evil Lord Wrotham. Unable to return home and tell his daughter that he has lost her in a game of dice, Sir Giles kills himself there and then. Lord Vulcan, who has witnessed the events, takes pity on Serena Staverley, although they have never met. He challenges Lord Wrotham to a game of dice in which the winner takes both Staverley Court and Miss Serena.

A TV team ends up at an old farm to make a film about the place. At the same time a couple of armed desperados come to the farm and the trouble begins. The hero must rip off his shirt, take an UZI from the van and enter the series of sewers under the farm to rescue his friends. Down in the sewers lives a man who has lived down there since he was a kid. Now he is a psychotic half beast half man murder machine.

The New Avengers is a British secret agent fantasy adventure television series produced during 1976 and 1977. A joint United Kingdom-France-Canada production, the series picks up the adventures of John Steed as he and his team of "Avengers" fight evil plots and world domination. Whereas in the original series Steed had almost always been partnered with a woman, in the new series he had two partners: Mike Gambit, a top agent, crack marksman and trained martial artist, and Purdey, a former trainee with The Royal Ballet who was an amalgam of many of the best talents from Steed's female partners in The Avengers.
