British director Chris Cunningham has drawn acclaim for groundbreaking music videos for the likes of Autechre, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Bjork, and Portishead, his award-winning commercials, and his risky short films. The Work of Director Chris Cunningham is the second release in Palm's Directors Label Series.

"Boyz N the Hood" meets "Blood In, Blood Out" in this gritty tale of life on the streets of East L.A. Danny (Jacob Vargas), Alfonso (Greg Serano) and Raymo (Clifton Collins Jr.) are lifelong friends who have spent their days hanging out and playing basketball. But everything is about to change...when one of them gets involved with a dangerous drug dealer, all their lives are at risk and they must make some life and death decisions.

A short film made to the music of Windowlicker, a single by Richard D. James that was released in 1999 by Warp Records. Directed by Chris Cunningham, a frequent collaborator of James who had also done the cover artwork for the single along with The Designers Republic, as well as directing and doing the cover art to James's previous music video and single, 1997's Come To Daddy.
