Giordano De Plano

A woman and her 10-year-old son face, in their own way, the mourning for the death of the husband and father, which took place in a factory, while the waiting and the recollection for the day of the funeral grow all around.

Mirko and Manolo are best friends and live in the suburbs of Rome. They both live in poor conditions with their single parents, are still in school and struggle with occasional odd jobs to make ends meet. Together they share dreams of women, of sex and money, of a better life to come. Then, after killing a man in a hit-and-run one night, they get involved with the local mafia and their lives change dramatically.

Over the course of one long night, mountain roads crisscrossing wooded slopes become the scene of a series of gruesome murders, all committed by an array of characters trying get their hands on a mysterious suitcase.

St. Petersburg, 1860. A member of the imperial family is assassinated. A few days later, the writer Fëdor Michajlovic Dostoevskij meets with Gusiev, a young man committed to a psychiatric hospital. Gusiev confesses that he took part in the terrorist plot and reveals that his fellow conspirators are planning to kill another of the Tsar’s relatives. The young man also gives Dostoevsky the address of Alexandra, their leader. The writer must find her and convince her to call off the new assassination attempt.

Composed and inspired by several comics by Italian underground prodigy Andrea Pazienza, Paz! is a 24-hour slice of life of a bunch of students living in an apartment in Bologna during the 70's, divided between marjuana, university, girls and political militancy.
