Czech Television has successfully aired two TV movies detective novels by Emil Vachek: The man and the Shadow and Evil minute. In both stories of the First Republic, acting chief inspector Klubíčko detective Tchaikovsky stamping, bachelor, gourmet, collector of old prints, which played an excellent way Miroslav Donutil.

A 16 years old boy from Germany runs away from a boring birthday party and follows a few graffiti artists to the station. When police arrives he escapes in a train and gets over the border to the Czech Republic. There he meets a wild Czech girl and falls in love with her. Together they try to go to Berlin without having money. A fine road movie about two young people trying to find their way.

Based on an autobiographical novella by Ivan Olbracht, the film tells the story of Hanele Safarová, who grows up just after the First World War in a little Ruthenian schtetl which, in true Hassidic fashion, awaits the arrival of the Messiah. But Hanele decides to follow the Zionists instead. She moves to the city to prepare for her departure to the Promised Land, where she meets a successful businessman named Ivo Karadzic, who has renounced Judaism to become a free-thinker. Their love for each other doesn’t only drive Hanele’s parents to distraction, it also threatens to destroy the entire community in the schetl.

The Stolen Airship (Czech: Ukradená vzducholod) is a 1967 live-action/animated film by Czech filmmaker Karel Zeman. The story is based loosely on Jules Verne's novels Two Years' Vacation and The Mysterious Island. The film in Art Nouveau style consists of live-action scenes, generally shot in black and white, as well as hand-drawn, stop motion, and cutout animation. Various live-action and animated elements are often composited into the same scene.

During undisturbed Clown Ferdinand clears his trailer to an unknown missile approaches the city. All men flee in a hurry, only Ferdinand did not hear the messages and drives carelessly with his old car through the deserted city. When he meets three children, understands the situation and tries to escape, it's already too late. All find themselves inside a rocket and experience an exciting flight into space. Strange machines, robots and weird so many adventures waiting for the inhabitants of the earth. This film reuses sets from Polák's Ikarie XB 1 (1963).
