Richie Ashburn, also known as Whitey for his famously blond hair, was one of the most consistent hitters in Baseball history, winning the batting title twice. He was also an incomparable fielder. He later went on to become the broadcast voice of the Phillies and is one of the most beloved sports figures in Philadelphia sports history.

The Puppy Bowl is an annual television program on Animal Planet that mimics an American football bowl game similar to the Super Bowl, using puppies. Shown each year on Super Bowl Sunday, the show consists of footage of a batch of puppies at play inside a model stadium, with commentary on their actions. The first Puppy Bowl was shown on February 6, 2005. The puppies featured in the Puppy Bowl are from shelters, and the show contains information on how viewers can adopt rescued puppies and help their local shelter.

Big Game XXVIII: Road Runner vs. Coyote is a tv special featuring four hours of Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons, a pregame analysis by Jerry Glanville, Nick Buoniconti, Cris Collinsworth and Len Dawson, and play-by-play shots.
