Turning Point was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced by the American professional wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). The event was created in 2004 and was originally held annually in December. TNA changed the date of the 2008 event to be held in November. The event has been held as an annual PPV event for TNA. The 2004 event was the second TNA PPV to be produced annually. Since its inception in 2004, the event has been held exclusively in Orlando, Florida. Every event has been held in an indoor arena, with all of the events taking place in the TNA Impact! Zone. Each event features talent from TNA competing in various professional wrestling match types. Since the inaugural event, five championship matches have taken place in the main event.

Victory Road 2004 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, which took place on November 7, 2004 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Victory Road chronology, which became an annual event in 2006. Nine matches were featured on the event's card.

World War 3 1998 took place on November 22, 1998 from The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. There was a double main event with the Three Ring, 60 Man Battle Royal to earn a WCW World Heavyweight Title shot as the first and the second featuring Diamond Dallas Page defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Bret Hart. Other scheduled matches were Chris Jericho defending the WCW World Television Championship against Bobby Duncum, Jr., a rematch between Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, a rubber match of Rick Steiner vs Scott Steiner, Juventud Guerrera defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Billy Kidman, Perry Saturn & Kaz Hayashi vs Ernest Miller & Sonny Onoo, Stevie Ray vs Konnan, and Glacier vs Wrath.

World War 3 1997 took place on November 23, 1997 from The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The main event was the 3 Ring, 60 Man Battle Royal match to earn a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Title defenses at this event included Curt Hennig defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, Jr., The Steiner Brothers defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Blue Bloods, and Saturn defending the WCW World Television Championship against Disco Inferno. Other matches featured included Alex Wright versus Steve McMichael, a Raven's Rules No DQ match between Raven and Scotty Riggs, Yuji Nagata versus Ultimo Dragon, and The Faces of Fear versus Glacier and Ernest Miller.

Bash at the Beach 1997 took place on July 13, 1997 from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The main event was Hollywood Hogan & Dennis Rodman versus Lex Luger and The Giant in a standard Tag Team match. Other matches included Ric Flair vs Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page & Curt Hennig vs Scott Hall and Randy Savage, Jeff Jarrett defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Steve McMichael, Chris Benoit versus The Taskmaster in a Retirement Match, a 6-Man Tag Team match with Juventud Guerrera, Hector Garza & Lizmark, Jr. versus La Parka, Psychosis & Villaño IV, The Steiner Brothers versus The Great Muta & Masahiro Chono, Chris Jericho defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Ultimo Dragon, and Mortis & Wrath versus Glacier & Ernest Miller.
