Submarine 707R is a two-episode anime OVA produced by Group TAC and Sony and also a manga released by Satoru Ozawa released in 1963-1965 on Weekly ShÅnen Sunday and although not a mecha robot series, a "mecha" storyline that spawned plastic models during its time. The manga series was very intriguing for its time as it was a unique story that featured various submarines with a storyline that introduced readers to anti-submarine warfare, homing torpedoes, sonars and technical topics in relation to submarines. Due to its popularity, reception of the OVA adaptation has been mixed.

Anizawa Meito is the blazing store manager. He is a fireball who loves animation merchandise at heart. He takes over the dying wish of the former store manager, though still alive, who was attacked by the rival store and becomes a âstore managerâ of newly opened animation goods specialty store, Animate. The scarlet, âstore manager visorâ is his trademark.

Sometime in 1999, after Neon Genesis Evangelion finished and during the pre-production of Kare Kano, Evangelion's director Hideaki Anno appeared on a TV show on NHK called "Welcome Back for an Extracurricular Lesson, Senpai!", which features Japanese celebrities revisiting their old stomping grounds and teaches a class in their old primary school. In this episode, Anno returns to Ube, a factory town in Yamaguchi Prefecture, to teach kids about animation.

Anno traveled far away from the hectic Tokyo metropolis with his cast to shoot almost idol-like sunny beach footage for the music video and film advertisements.
Evangelion Symphony (ãšãŽã¡ã³ã²ãªãªã³äº€é¿æ¥œ Evangerion KÅkyÅgaku) is an orchestral live album featuring music from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. In 1997 it was recorded at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall. It was released on December 22, 1997 with the catalogue number KICA-390/1 on King Records' label Starchild Records. ShirÅ Sagisu created and produced the music. It also managed to peak rank 34 in the Oricon charts, managing to make a total of 6 frequent appearances.

An archaeological expedition finds the mummified bodies of Genghis Khan and his army somewhere in Mongolia. Unaware that the location is cursed, the explorers wake up the former ruler of the Mongolian empire. He warns the intruders that a large calamity will befall the world in one thousand days. The only ones who can prevent this from happening are three persons who bear wolf-shaped arrow scars. They must join forces and kill the "three emperors" so that the Khan's soul can once again sleep for a thousand years.
A shorter, more streamlined version of Nadia called "The Nautilus Story", which all but eliminates the filler arc and concentrates on the struggle between Nemo and Gargoyle. Some scenes in the more pivotal episodes are cut as well. The compilation series was made by Hideaki Anno, who was said to have been dissatisfied with the final result of the TV show. The Nautilus Story was only released in Japan on VHS and laserdisc.
