Hope Summers
Another Day is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from April 8, 1978 to April 29, 1978. The series stars David Groh and Joan Hackett as a married couple, both of whom hold down full-time jobs, and their family.
Two guys come to Nashville and try to make it on the country music scene. Their vision is to play at the Grand IL' Opry. Rejection after rejection pushes them to the verge of quitting and moving back to wherever they came from.
Snip was a 1976 comedy starring David Brenner about a hairdresser living in Cape Cod, Massachusetts who has his ex-wife, daughter and former aunt living with him in his apartment. He and his ex-wife are both in the same hairdressing business under their boss and friend who's an openly gay man. It was a take-off of the movie Shampoo and was created by James Komack, the creator of Chico and the Man and Welcome Back Kotter. The series was to premiere September 30, 1976 on NBC, but was cancelled at the last minute and never made it to air in the U.S. The cancellation was so abrupt even TV Guide was caught off guard, and listed the show in its "Fall Preview" issue for that year. Five episodes had already been produced and were aired in Australia.
Passing through a small town, two young hippie couples stumble upon a town where the old folks all act strange and even stranger things are happening at the local clinic. Filming was completed in 1973 but this original version of the film was barely released two years later under several different titles. It was shot as God Bless Grandpa and Grandma but posters were made for the titles Dr. Shagetz and God Bless Dr. Shagetz, with the "Bless" crossed over and replaced with "Damn." In the early 80s, much of the older footage was scrapped and new scenes were put in their place for the 1987 video release Evil Town, which also boasted new music. In that version (the only one currently available), several of the characters in the original (including the garage mechanics and clinic nurse) have been removed entirely and replaced with new actors.

When James met Penelope at a club, it took all of three weeks before they were married.
