In a sleepy provincial town, a Jehovah Witness community is attacked by an extremist group. In the midst of this conflict, the familiar world of Yana, the wife of the community leader, slowly crumbles. Yana’s inner discontent grows as she struggles to make sense of her desires.

Lifetime friends and neighbors from the same year in Old Tbilisi turn into enemies and confront their fellow neighbor's family when an investor shows up to buy their yard and houses.

The action of the film takes place in one of the yards of Old Tbilisi. At the beginning of the film we see the neighbors who make one team. Although they all are short of money and have to endure plethora of hardships, live like one friendly family. The situation changes, when an investor comes and offers a large sum of money for their half-ruined, dilapidated houses. Only one owner, Gia, goes against the deal, as he worked hard to redecorate his part of the house.

The Soviet Union has collapsed. Civil and ethnic wars have broken out in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, three republics in the Caucasus. The post-Soviet Caucasus have turned into one large conflict zone. Two radically different people with different ideals, problems, and goals are united by the conflict zone. Gogliko, a Tbilisi street boy, and Spartak, a Sukhumi sniper, are forced to solve problems of the street and problems of the state together. For one, the goal is to get back the money he lost gambling; for the other, it is to carry out a general's absurd military mission. In spite of it all, their paths cross and their lives are changed forever.

A simple Tbilisi story seen by 12 directors,of which the first begins and the 12th ends the film.The directors and the actors as well the genre are changing. All actors are playing leading roles. Represantives of different professions are also involved in the film to create an image of Georgian society .
