The short sci-fi film depicts a UK government using all digital technology for surveillance and control over the general population, becoming a totalitarian state. We join our lead characters, Lee and Jess on the brink of a revolution.

A teenage girl rides the local buses, providing a ferocious social commentary against a backdrop of the Lutonian landscape. 'The Backseat' offers unique insight into a young girl's view of the world. A world that has mistreated her so far.
