A Production of the Lucy Boscana Dramatic Workshop, WIPR, Department of Economic Development and Commerce, Puerto Rico Film Commission, and the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.

Celina's Son is an intimate portrait of one of Puerto Rico's most celebrated singers of all time. Despite his popularity, both in Puerto Rico as well as in Latin America, he remains a simple, sincere and lovable person. This 25-minute film explores the life of Andy Montañez through the eyes of his mother Doña Celina. She describes his rise to fame from a mother's perspective, making clear the pride she feels for the oldest of her 18 children. Combined with Doña Celina's narrative, are comments from Danny Rivera, a popular Puerto Rican singer, Nick Quijano, a San Juan graphic artist and Cuco Peña, a renowned music composer. These interviews, intercut with colorful footage of Andy, paint a picture of a grass roots performer, whose humble beginnings helped shape the great artist known as Andy Montañez.

Early in the morning, a picturesque old bar that frames a corner of Santurce like a castle, is enlivened by a tasty salsa music that emanates from a fleece. The owner of the bar, as is his custom, dances with street virtuosity to the rhythm. Sitting near a window, a beautiful woman waits for her lost prince. Four horsemen play Dominoes with mastery, while the melancholic Bartender cleans glasses as if wanting to clean their memories. A wobbly Wise Man (Gaspar), dressed regally, enters the bar and asks for a drink. The bartender offers to serve him a glass of milk instead, which provokes a confrontation between the two, that gradually turns into a duel of words. The Bartender brings out the resentment he has for the Three Kings who never brought him gifts and for the disappointment he has towards life. The Wise Man tries to re-validate himself creating uncertainty of his true identity. Who is this King of the Bar?

Interconnects the life of four Puerto Rican actors and a Colombian director while they participate in a Theater Improvisation Festival. They will be forced to reflect on their future in art amid economic crisis, global warming, and technological dependency.

A few women arrive at an escort agency to choose the men who will accompany them at their events. They aren’t all there for the same reason. A comedy narrating the adventures of ten Puerto Ricans looking for a better life. The film centers on an airplane trip to New York during 1960's. It relates in a comical, yet poignant manner, the array of reasons each of the passengers has for leaving Puerto Rico and the challenges they face as suggested by the interactions of the Anglo crew and the passengers.
