In the third film of the successful series, Jan Fedder is back as a Pastor Book with body and soul. On February 20, 1953, the Nordwestdeutsche Rundfunk broadcast the first cooking show of German post-war television. Clemens Carl Hahn became the TV chef Clemens Wilmenrod. When the "request in ten minutes to table" on the screens flickered, went for the presenter of the show a dream come true: He had designed the cooking show not only the first TV format that was aimed at women, but also a new self invented.
With "Der Bernsteinfischer" director Olaf Kreinsen has staged a moving love story. Romantic, but not kitschy, the film tells the story of a man who, through the love of a woman, is led to face the mistakes of his past - to finally make a fresh start. Heiner Lauterbach and Sonsee Neu shine in the leading roles as a romantic dream couple. Other roles include Deborah Kaufmann and Michael Hanemann.
It all starts with a bang. The car breaks through the crash barrier and falls off the bridge. The lights go out. After that, he is not able to see anymore. His optic nerve is severed, from now on the young stage-director Jakob is blind. His life will change and nothing will ever be the same. Jakob cannot handle the idea of never being able to see again and screams at the only woman who is able and willing to help him, Lily. A rehabilitation teacher, she helps the blind deal with the darkness. Lily has been living with it since birth, she too is blind.
