"A dream play" - This made-for-television film constituted Bergman’s first production of Strindberg’s A Dream Play – a play he would revisit three times more. Gunnar Ollén’s Malmö crew was behind this, for its time, prestigious and costly theatre production, involving more than 40 actors and no less than 75 extras.

Krister and his fiancé Brita return to Stockholm after a stay in Italy. Shortly upon their return Krister learns that all his assets left to him by his father has disappeared. Together with Brita he tries to obtain justice in a aristocratic and corrupt legal system.

The married detective couple John and Kajsa Hillman goes on a vacation to Holmfors mill where a friend of Kajsa's lives with her husband. When a young woman is found murdered it is clear that this is another case for the Hillmans.

The movie takes place on Oslo's east side sometime during the twenties. It depicts the workers' environment by traditional elements like unemployment, strike, poverty, alcoholism, absent fathers, wise and tired mothers, the dream of a better life and the friendship between the boys in the street.

Erik, a poor inventor meets the clerk Lillemor and fall in love. Erik's becomes invention is ready for the market. He contacts a director who might be interested. Erik is attracted almost immediately by the director's wife.

The north of Sweden in 1902. A team of railroad men are building a rail road from Luleå at the Bay of Bothnia to Narvik at the Norwegian Sea. One of the newest workers, Valfrid from the south of Sweden, is not accepted by neither Stora Ballong, the informal leader of the workers, nor the others. They refuse to talk to him but instead Valfrid gets help from the sworn enemy of the railroad workers: the greedy drugstore owner Blom.

"You who entry..." A drama about revenge, lies and destruction. Tomas Eckert, a civil servant, is subjected to a violated woman's revenge. It happens to be his boss's wife, Märta Palm. Tomas is accused of having abused Mrs.Palm. She also reveals that Tomas's wife is morphine addict. He collapses and is forced to accept early retirement, diagnosed "epilepsy with mental changes"

Anna loses her driver's license after driving too fast. When she is later robbed by two men, it is the same constable who took her driver's license. They fall in love with each other and get engaged.

The soul of an evil witch about to be burned is transferred to the child of a pregnant woman in the audience. 19 years later a timid girl arrives at a farm looking for work. The farmer employs her despite his wife's protests. Soon it stands clear that the girl is in fact the evil witch, returned to wreak havoc on the farmer and his family. Plot by Mattias Thuresson.

A female reporter invents a story about a man who threatens to take his life to protest the injustices of society. But the scam is about to be revealed. She is forced to persuade a tramp to play the fictional man.

During the spring of 1940 two young men gets drafted and deployed close to the Norwegian border, where they fall in love with the same woman.

Kristina and Sture is married and has a little baby boy, Olle. Sture is an architect and while he is struggling with his business, his wife Kristina gets lonesome and starts to get take an interest in Sture's Norwegian architect colleague, Arne Ranck.

Choreographer is found murdered and the police investigate. There are several suspects among his lovers, dancers and family members.
