Dean Smith suspends his practice to spend all his time searching for a cure for his wife. As the days stretch into months her condition deteriorates and her behavior becomes more and more erratic. There is more at work here than a dying body, something is attacking her very soul.

This live action film features a Nerd who, in desperation, goes to the "Minnie Mouse Center for the totally un-hip". There he learns how to dress, dance, and most importantly - be himself. The film features an original music video with Minnie Mouse, in new animation, integrated into live action footage with Elton John singing "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart."

Once Upon a Mouse is a theatrical featurette highlighting Disney's animated legacy starting with Steamboat Willie in 1928.
