AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling will present their first ever joint pay-per-view special this summer. “AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door” will take place live on Sunday, June 26, at the United Center in Chicago, featuring marquee matchups between members of AEW and NJPW’s world-class rosters.

Wrestling Dontaku 2022 is a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The event took take place on May 1, 2022, in Fukuoka, at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome. This was the first time that Wrestling Dontaku took place at the venue since 2000.

After Wednesday night’s B Block finals, the full card has now been determined for the G1 Climax 31 final on Thursday October 21.

B Block wrestle their seventh matches in Sendai on October 12. With just over a week to go in the tournament, these matches will be critical in determining the final players next week in the Nippon Budokan.

September 29 sees G1 Climax 31 make its first Korakuen Hall stop. It’s B Block action in the hall, as the opening act of the tournament is completed and participants look to be in the best shape possible before entering the difficult middle phase.

The second night of G1 Climax 31 action in Osaka sees a classic rivalry renewed in the main event, as B Block gets underway.

Friday night in Ota, it’s the turn of B Block in their second matches of the G1 Climax 31 campaign. Half the field look to extend their scores, while the other half are trying to get on the board as the tournament continues.

New Japan Pro Wrestling will be making its return to Ryogoku Sumo Hall on April 4th, 2021 for Sakura Genesis, an event that was once an annual fixture of the New Japan calendar. Due to both their trip to the US in 2019 and the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020, this will be the first time in three years that this event will take place. As the beloved cherry blossoms fall at roughly 5 centimeters per second outside of the Sumo Hall, inside of it will be one of the most controversial shows in New Japan’s history as the first-ever IWGP World Heavyweight Championship defense will take place in the main event as Will Ospreay challenges Kota Ibushi.

The night after the climactic Wrestle Kingdom 15 at the Tokyo Dome, New Japan Pro Wrestling kicked off their first round of feuds for 2021 at New Year Dash!! at Tokyo Dome City Hall. The show wasn’t as dramatic as some NYDs of the past, but there were a couple of matches worth watching and the beginnings of some very promising angles, including one for one of the best new matches NJPW could do right now.

As the G1 approaches its midway point, Shizuoka will see the B Block competitors battle for control at the top of the standings, and survival at the bottom.

Back in May of this year, there was a brief panic when all of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Social Media changed over to Bar Wrestling. Many feared the worst, that PWG had folded or been re-branded. But as it turned out, it was because PWG co-founder and former owner Joey Ryan was starting his own promotion, called Bar Wrestling, and still had control of the old accounts.
