The whole Kizhakkemala has high hopes about Rebecca and they support her by all means. In order to be in Olympics she needs intense training. Arjun is her coach for the same. It was at this time that Oommen Koshy from U K, who is called UK by all, enters Rebecca's life. He is a student at a private college at Kizhakkemala. Rebecca's marriage is being fixed with Kuruvilla, a rich man from Kanjirappally, the native place of Rebecca's mother. The movie moves forward to new planes when these three persons enter Rebecca's life in one way or other

He sells biriyani – not to make money but to ensure that his biriyani has his customers Faizie's stay in Kozhikode continues for a bit longer than what he had anticipated and during his stay with his grandfather, Faizie unearths a real world that exists beyond the sea and its shores. The film is about the bonding between Faizi and his grandfather and how a few days with his grandfather and Ustad Hotel changes his life for ever.

It received mixed critical reviews and turned out to be the first blockbuster film of 2012 in Malayalam cinema.

The film was in the making for more than fifteen years.[1] Sukumaran says this movie was a childhood ambition, a destiny. His devotion to Sree Narayana Guru is what promted him to make this movie. Over 2000 hand drawn images constitute the story board. Mohanlal was initially cast as "Swami Vivekananda", a cameo role in the movie which comes in the flashback, but later on withdrew from the movie due to problems with his shooting dates. The cast includes some of the best in the Malayalam movie industry.

But Varma’s daughter Sangeeta (Bhavana) objects, saying that her cousin had conned her father to sell out. Aji and Sangeeta have arguments and fights that lead them to fall in love with each other!

Nammal is another campus movie from Kamal after Niram. What is different this time is Kamal introduces new faces Siddharth and Jishnu. Kamal provides glimpses of the new campus with adventure in his movie with these debutants. Snehalatha (Suhasini) takes charge as the Principal in a college where Shyam (Siddharth) and Sivan (Jishnu) are the heroes. Shyam and Sivan are fun filled characters as well as naughty. Aparna (Renuka Menon) is teased and ragged by the duo, who happens to be the daughter of Principal's friend. Aparna complaints and Snehalatha takes action against Shyam and Shivan. Soon to her surpurise she discovers that Shyam and Shivan are orphans, hardworking and their guardian is a priest (Balachandra Menon).
