The third of four Columbia shorts starring Joe DeRita, made across a period of 15 months from late 1946 to early-1948, has newlyweds Eddie (Joe DeRita) and Betty (Christine McIntyre) barely moved into their new house before Betty's mother (Esther Howard), aunt (Patsy Moran) and brother (Charles Williams) show up and give every indication of becoming permanent free-loading guests. Dick (William Newell) gives Eddie a plan that will cause his unwanted guests to vacate the premises, by having Dick and his wife, Ruby (Dorothy Granger), move in as Eddie's relatives, and even bigger pests, thereby causing Betty's relatives to move out. The plan works and Eddie and Betty are pleased until Dick announces that he and Ruby have intentions of staying on. A Spanish-language subtitled version was released as "La Suegra Intrusia."
In this Columbia All-Star Comedy short (production number 8438), Joe DeRita is a bachelor inventor who reads a marriage proposal written on an egg by a lonely widow with one child. He accepts, and soon finds out the boy is the "bad" part of the egg in the title, as he soon destroys whatever it was that Joe had invented.
The students at Whitney High School are down in the dumps since their football team faces almost certain defeat and hasn't won a game in 28 years. The school paper may have to suspend publication because the circulation is so low and the principal intends to replace student performers at the school bazaar with professionals. But with the class roster on this Monogram campus made up of Freddie Stewart, June Preisser, Anne Rooney et al, it's only a matter of about 45 more minutes before the team wins, the paper gets a large circulation boost and all hands are on stage performing with the Freddie Slack and Jan Savitt orchestras.

Arthur and Vivian are just married, but when the get to their honeymoon suite in Washington D.C., they find it occupied. Arthur goes to meet Slade, his new boss, and when he comes back, he finds three girls in his suite. He orders Vivian to get rid of them, but they are friends of Vivian's and as time goes by, it looks more like Grand Central Station than the quiet honeymoon suite Arthur expected. As long as there is anyone else in the suite, Arthur will not stay there and there will be no honeymoon.
