Although the title (which translates as "Murders in Chicago") promises a gangster story, this is more of a murder mystery that kicks off with the seemingly accidental death of a construction worker, followed shortly after by that of a noted publisher (an uneasy-looking Eduardo Fajardo). What follows is a very confusing story in which the police, a police coroner (José Campos) and a vagrant (Fernando Sánchez Polack) who witnessed Fajardo's death embark on separate inquests on what actually happened. Meanwhile, June (María Luisa Rubio), who works as a secretary for the publishing company, is under pressure by a blackmailer (Antonio Jiménez Escribano) who has pictures of her in the sack with the deceased publisher.

Stolen money has really Joseph son of Don Pedro, forcing Louis to confess to the robbery, threatening to take the farm to his parents, older may not work elsewhere. With this move, Joseph not only is cleared of any suspicion but also with a clear path to reach dew, until then girlfriend of Luis.

They become close friends until Laura becomes convinced the spirit of Carmilla is forcing her to kill.

In the same place works Fernando, whom the other employees do not like because of his being very arrogant. In revenge, Rosita pretends to love him. Fernando discovers her double game, but also pretends he is not aware.

Rafael, Miguel and Gabriel are three boys of different social status, who come to the call of the Flags of Hunters Parachute enroll in their ranks. Between them comes a great friendship and starring a host of incidents, until Rafael starts a relationship with Milagros, an attractive girl of Alcala.
