The story of a witty young girl named Qiu Yan and a cold-faced duke named Liang Yi, who goes from battling each other with wits and boldness to understanding and accompanying each other. Qiu Yan is the least favored eldest daughter of the Qiu Manor. She managed to reap happiness step by step relying on her own efforts and wisdom.

1949. Just before the most important and brutal battle of Chinese civil war, an elite small group of PLA commandos infiltrated across the Yang-tze river into the heart of KMT regime. Other than fighting behind enemy lines, the captain of the group had one special task: turning an official who served loyally in KMT army - his own brother.

The social media stars Mengli (played by Joyin CHOI) and Xiaomiao (played by YoMi) are joined by their university friend Yuying (played by Kabby HUI) on a trip to an island for their live show. Granny Xiong (played by CAO Yang), the boat rower, proposes to take them to another island, and it turns out to be a trap to get her disabled grandson a bride! The girls are then locked-up, and with time they begin to give in in exchange for water and food. The long-awaited chance finally arrives! But only when they make a run, they realize that they are faced with more than two captors! The girls’ morale takes another hit when Yuying finds herself pregnant. They must work on their last chance to escape before it is too late.

The movie features three ghost stories set in Hong Kong, beginning with Vivian, who, after moving into a new place, gets involved in spooky incidents with her neighbours. The next story follows Scarlet, who unknowingly receives a tattoo with sinister secrets. The final story is about a group of university students, who awaken the vengeful spirits of a dead couple while live-streaming their ghost hunting expedition.

Underworld godfather Kim, nicknamed Egg Tart, is friendly and sociable. He likes singing more than being the leader of triads. With his principle of peace, harmony and stability, he has won the support of the gang elders. Meanwhile, the cool and handsome Lung becomes a gangster because he is attracted to the cool image of gangsters portrayed in the "Young and Dangerous" movies, and he believes that he has what it takes to be the big boss. To support Lung, his wife sets a trap by trying to seduce Kim in order to obtain the secret of becoming the godfather.

Sham Shui Po, there is the most famous red-light district in Hong Kong. Li (Carrie Ng) owns a few of the apartments in the building and she earns a living by renting them out to the prostitutes. To the prostitutes though, she is more a friend than just a landlord. She gets together a group of prostitutes and work as hard as they could, trying to attract business to turn the tide. Still, they do not know they are quietly approaching death. It begins with the missing of a prostitute Ping. Ping is one of the tenants who live with her young daughter. In the process of finding Ping, Li discovered there had been a lot of missing prostitutes in this building, yet none of them were found. The building was somehow isolated from the outside world and a massacre begins. Li and the prostitutes have to find Ping and to fight a battle of wits with the invisible murderer. As more evident of the murderer's identity revealed, a tragic truth hidden for over twenty years starts to unveil.

A thriller based on two real incidents: the 2003 Tuen Mun Road traffic accident that claimed 21 lives and the 2013 Yau Oi Estate suicide, where the female victim dressed in red leapt to her death on the day of the Chinese Ghost Festival.
