Sorceresses Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent are enjoying a meal in a villiage when the residents suddenly retreat indoors and two armies - one of men and one of a young girl and a tribe of dragons. Although the ruler of the town originally tries to convince Lina that this is because of a dark legacy, in truth the dragon army is led by his daughter and their battles are over her allowance. Lina agrees to help the ruler while Naga joins his daughter, Marlene.

Lina and Naga, on their way to a town called Storner, robbed bad guys of their precious treasure. Storner was known as a town of "Gorlems" moved by magic power. And again the two were thrown into trouble by a girl called Leia. Galia, Leia's father, and Huey, her brother argued all the time and both are skilled "Gorlem" artisans. Lina and Naga were forced to face each other (each one inside a gorlem, Lina's one made by Galia and Naga's one made by Huey) by two villains, Heisen and Granion who were competing for supreme power over the town.

Taking place 15 years after the 7th Space War, the surviving 98 million residents of Earth try to make a living as best they can in the post apocalyptic landscape. Now the crew of the Freeden face a multitude of enemies as they try to prevent another catastrophic war.

The first Slayers movie is a prequel to the TV series, following the exploits of a couple of sorceresses with too much time on their hands and too many violent tendencies. The main mage is Lina Inverse, known for her fireballs, love of seafood, and small breasts. Actually, her breasts are normal unless you compare her to her traveling companion and sometimes rival, Naga, known for her earthquakes,

Odin centers around the novice crew of the laser sailing space schooner Starlight as they embark on an historic interstellar test flight.
