'From The Vault' is a series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. 'The Marquee Live In 1971' is the latest addition to the series. The show was filmed at London's legendary Marquee club on March 26th 1971, shortly after the finish of the band's 1971 UK tour and about a month before the release of the 'Sticky Fingers' album in late April. Mick Taylor was now fully integrated into the group and the band had used the tour to showcase some of the tracks from the forthcoming album. The show at the Marquee was filmed for American television and four songs from the 'Sticky Fingers' album were featured, including the rarely performed 'I Got The Blues'. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.

On November 22, 1981, in the middle of their mammoth American tour, the Rolling Stones arrived in Chicago prior to playing 3 nights at the Rosemont Horizon. Long influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to Muddy Waters' club the Checkerboard Lounge to see the legendary bluesman perform. It didn't take long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage and later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that was fortunately captured on camera. Now restored from the original footage and with sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain, this amazing blues night is being made available in an official release for the first time.

The Rolling Stones appeared six times on "Ed Sullivan" between 1964 and 1969. Their first appearance, Oct. 25, 1964, featured a performance of "Time Is On My Side." They returned May 2, 1965 to perform "The Last Time," "Little Red Rooster," "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" and, over the end credits, "2120 South Michigan Avenue." Later performances, presented in color, came on Feb. 13, 1966 ("(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "As Tears Go By," "19th Nervous Breakdown"); Sept. 11,1966 ("Paint It, Black," "Lady Jane," "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadows?") and Jan. 15, 1967, the final "Sullivan" appearance with founding member Brian Jones ("Ruby Tuesday" and the reworded "Let's Spend The Night Together" that became "Let's Spend Some Time Together"). In 1971, to get breathing room from tax and management problems, the Stones go to France. Jimmy Miller parks a recording truck next to Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg's Blue Coast villa, and by June the band is in the basement a few days at a time. Upstairs, heroin, bourbon, and visitors are everywhere. The Stones, other musicians and crew, Pallenberg, and photographer Dominique Tarle, plus old clips and photos and contemporary footage, provide commentary on the album's haphazard construction. By September, the villa is empty; Richards and Jagger complete production in LA. "Exile on Main Street" is released to mediocre reviews that soon give way to lionization.

John Lee Hooker was the last of the unstructured real country Bluesmen. He was a semi-urbanized Robert Johnson-style one man band and was even born in Clarksdale, Mississippi where WC Handy had first seen slide guitar playing. I can remember seeing John Lee in Central Park in 1967 playing second fiddle to Al Kooper and the final stages of the Blues Project. He came out all alone, no band, just a chair and blew them totally away. You can't beat the real thing! This DVD is a definite must have for any Blues fan. As the ranks of real Blues originals diminishes we need to cling on to these type of records. This compilation is well edited and put together. It is over two hours long which is what Blues fans want.

Bridges to Babylon Tour '97–98 by The Rolling Stones is a video from a concert which was filmed in St. Louis, Missouri 12-December-1997 during the Bridges to Babylon Tour 1997-1998. It features a single, massive oval video screen behind the band on the main stage, a stripped-down set on a small stage in the middle of the arena floor, and guest appearances by Dave Matthews ("Wild Horses") and Josh Redman.

A total of four stripped-down concerts were held at small venues in Amsterdam, Paris and London, and recorded for the album 'Stripped.' The concert that was released under the title "Live from Paris 1995" on DVD and SD Blu-ray as part of the 2016 'Totally Stripped' deluxe boxed set took place on July 3, 1995 at the Paris Olympia, a venue with a capacity of about 2000. Three songs from this intimate concert were included on the original 'Stripped' album, namely "Shine a Light," "Let It Bleed" and "Angie."

Totally Stripped is a newly revised version of the documentary that was originally made to coincide with the release of The Rolling Stones Stripped album released in November 1995. It tells the story of the two studio sessions and three live shows that made up the Stripped project. This followed the conclusion of the mammoth Voodoo Lounge tour and found The Stones reimagining tracks from their back catalogue in pared back versions alongside a couple of carefully chosen covers in the studio and doing smaller scale club gigs to showcase these versions, which was a marked contrast to the huge arenas and stadiums that had hosted the Voodoo Lounge tour. This new version of the documentary includes previously unseen footage and lays bare the inner workings of both The Rolling Stones and of some of their best loved tracks. Revealing, intimate and moving, Totally Stripped is unmissable.
This 99-minute concert, which was recorded at the world-famous Paradiso in Amsterdam on May 26, 1995, captures the Rolling Stones in top form playing a strong 20-song set to a high-spirited audience. This show that took place on July 19, 1995 at the Brixton Academy in London, a venue with a capacity of about 5000, was the final of a total of four club shows. The other shows were held in Paris and Amsterdam, and all of them were recorded for a forthcoming album, which was eventually named 'Stripped' and released on November 13, 1995. Two songs from the London show made it on the album, namely "Dead Flowers" and the Bob Dylan-penned "Like a Rolling Stone," with the latter also being released as the lead single off the album. "Black Limousine" and "Live with Me" from this show were chosen as the B-sides for the singles "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Wild Horses," respectively. The full Brixton Academy concert was released on DVD and SD Blu-ray as part of the 'Totally Stripped' deluxe boxed set on June 3, 2016.

Guitar Legends was a concert held over five nights, from October 15 to October 19, 1991, in Seville, Spain, with the aim of positioning the city as an entertainment destination to draw support for Expo '92 beginning the following April. The event featured 27 top guitarists, including BB King, Brian May, George Benson, Joe Walsh, Keith Richards, Les Paul, Robbie Robertson, Robert Cray, Roger Waters, Albert Collins, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. The vocalists included Rickie Lee Jones, Bob Dylan and Joe Cocker. Five 90-minute shows and a one-hour documentary were broadcast. Forty-five countries showed at least one live show. Later, broadcasters in 105 countries broadcast one or more programmes.
Keith Richards first solo tour, capably backed by a handpicked group of musicians such as drummer Steve Jordan, guitarist Waddy Wachtel, vocalist Sarah Dash and old Stones pal, saxophonist Bobby Keys. Set-list is made up mostly with tracks from Richards Talk Is Cheap LP with a few rare Stones numbers mixed in. Keith, as always, is the living embodiment of rock and roll and this show, released in 1991 on VHS and then 2002 on DVD, is a great document of the tour.

The Rolling Stones Tour Of The Americas '75 was the band's first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood. Even before the dates started there were dramatic scenes in New York City at the official tour announcement when the band unexpectedly turned up on a flatbed truck to play Brown Sugar . After a couple of low key warm-up shows in Louisiana the tour took in 44 dates between the 3rd June and the 8th August 1975. They settled into the L.A. Forum for a five night stint from July 9th to 13th and this concert film features the show from July 12th. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.

In 1972, the Stones bring their Exile on Main Street tour to Texas: 15 songs, with five from the "Exile" album. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman on a small stage with three other musicians. Until the lights come up near the end, we see the Stones against a black background. The camera stays mostly on Jagger, with a few shots of Taylor. Richards is on screen for his duets and for some guitar work on the final two songs. It's music from start to finish: hard rock ("All Down the Line"), the blues ("Love in Vain" and "Midnight Rambler"), a tribute to Chuck Berry ("Bye Bye Johnny"), and no "Satisfaction."

Mick Taylor was now fully integrated into the group and the band had used the tour to showcase some of the tracks from the forthcoming album. The show at the Marquee was filmed for American television and four songs from the 'Sticky Fingers' album were featured, including the rarely performed 'I Got The Blues'. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.
