The Jay Leno Show is an American comedy show created by and starring Jay Leno, that aired at 10 p.m. from September 14, 2009 to February 9, 2010 on NBC, after Leno's initial retirement from hosting The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In January 2010, NBC announced that due to affiliate concerns about its effect on their newscasts, The Jay Leno Show would be shortened to 30 minutes and moved from primetime to 11:35 p.m., the timeslot that had been occupied by The Tonight Show for nearly 60 years. The Tonight Show host Conan O'Brien released a public statement saying that he would not participate in moving Tonight to 12:05 a.m., asserting that it would damage the highly respected franchise. Despite much support for O'Brien from both the public and media professionals alike NBC maintained its plan to move Leno to 11:35. On January 21, 2010, NBC reached a $45 million settlement with O'Brien in order to end his contract. Leno resumed his duties as host of Tonight on March 1, 2010. Leno ended on February 9, 2010 after being on the air for only four months, with Entertainment Weekly calling the program television's "Biggest Bomb of All Time."
Teen Alex Taylor and his older brother Jack live in L.A. where Jack is a personal fitness trainer. Jack had an affair with Mitzi Price, a very powerful business man's wife. Her husband, Laszlo Price, then blackmails Jack into going to New York City to get information from Rachel Montgomery, about who she is selling her company to. Jack brings Alex with him to make sure that he will be safe. Jack and Rachel fall in love while Alex falls in love Rachel's daughter Kelly. Eventually Jack tells Rachel why he was sent to New York, and the two work together to bring Laszlo Price down. Rachel needs to have two million dollars in order to not sell her company. Alex wins the money in a halftime contest at a basketball game. They provide information about Laszlo Price to the police, and he is arrested.
Road Wild 1998 took place on August 8, 1998 from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. The main event was Hollywood Hogan & Eric Bischoff verus Diamond Dallas Page & Jay Leno. Goldberg was forced to defend the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a World Title Battle Royal against nWo Hollywood (The Giant, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig and Scott Norton) and nWo Wolfpac (Konnan, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash and Sting). Other matches included Chris Jericho defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Juventud Guerrera, Steve McMichael vs Brian Adams, Chavo Guerrero, Jr. vs Stevie Ray, Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs Psychosis, Raven vs Saturn vs Kanyon in a Triangle Raven's Rules match, Public Enemy vs The Dancing Fools (Disco Inferno & Alex Wright), and Meng fought The Barbarian. Travis Triit performed a short concert after the show.
