They throw themselves into a completely wild experience with themselves, with their femininity. The movie is played by women who I found at castings throughout Poland."

A story about a boy from a Podlachian village, who realises his biggest dream - to sing and cheer people up. With his obstinacy, hard work and many sacrifices, he achieved his goal.

Jacek loves heavy metal and his dog. He converts the country lanes outside his door into a racing track and bombs down them in his little car. He enjoys his existance as a cool misfit in an otherwise stuffy environment, and keeps his muscles toned working on a building site close to the Polish-German border where the world’s largest statue of Jesus is being constructed. But then his life is thrown badly off course by a terrible accident at work that completely disfigures him. Eagerly followed by the Polish media, Jacek becomes the first person in the country to receive a face transplant. He may be celebrated as a national hero and martyr, but he no longer recognises himself in the mirror. Meanwhile, the statue of Jesus grows taller and taller. Whilst events around Jacek come thick and fast, the film never loses sight of the bigger picture and instead brings things even more into focus.

A movie about the power of thousands, the courage of hundreds and friendship of a few, thanks to whom a change of fate of millions became possible. Poland, lower Silesia, the beginning of a very cold winter 1981. After a series of entrapments by the security service a confrontation between the opposition and the communists seems to be inevitable. Just before the proclamation of martial law a group of young solidarity activists decide to play va banque and organize a rash action to take out 80 million of the union money from one of the Wroclaw’s banks before the account is blocked. Security service officers follow their steps. It’s the beginning of a gripping tournament in which also priests and curb dealers will play their parts. Each side has aces up their sleeve.

The story takes place in two parallel time planes. The first plot follows the events of one autumn night in 1978. Edward Srodon, a zootechnician, makes an accidental stopover in a farmhouse of Dziabas family in the remote area of Bieszczady Mountains. He stays for the night. The initial distrust between the guest and his hosts is quickly dispelled with moonshine and turns into a camaraderie, intimacy and even friendship. A plan of making a joint business arises, as well as passion and lust, which lead to a surprising and tragic consequences... Second plot is set on a winter day, during the Martial Law in Poland. An investigating team of Milicja Obywatelska (People's Militia) is visiting the crime scene. Lieutenant Mroz is trying to solve the multiple murder case from four years ago. The tool he has to his disposal is the reconstruction of events with help of the chief suspect, Srodon.

BrzydUla was a Polish telenovela that premiered on October 6, 2008, on TVN in Poland. The series was an adaptation of the Colombian telenovela Yo soy Betty, la fea. The Polish version told the story of an ugly but smart girl who started to work at the Febo & Dobrzański fashion house, and she fell in love with her boss, Marek Dobrzański. Ula had a sick father, Józef, a teenage brother, Jasiek, and a much younger sister, Beatka. The telenovela also told the stories of Ula's friends' and coworkers' lives. Series was broadcast from Monday to Friday at 17:55 / 5:55PM, replays the next day at 08:00 am and Saturday at 16.40. Series was carried out in HD. HD version of the show was available on the TVN channel HD broadcast takes place in parallel with the issue on the TVN channel.
