Set in the summer of 1984 – Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is on strike. At the Gay Pride March in London, a group of gay and lesbian activists decides to raise money to support the families of the striking miners. But there is a problem. The Union seems embarrassed to receive their support.
Hollyoaks Later is a British television spin-off of the Channel 4 television series Hollyoaks. The series began in 2008 and since then has become an annual event for the soap. The series returns every September and takes place over five consecutive nights on E4. As the title suggests, the late night series allows for more sexual content, ' edgier ' storylines and stronger language.
A demolition worker is plagued by traumatic childhood memories and the desire for revenge after he encounters the priest who sexually abused him two decades earlier. He struggles to come to terms with that formative episode and how it has negatively affected his relationships with his mother, God, and his girlfriend.
