Florida: Biker Edward Santer, known as "Diablo", is electrocuted for murder. He goes to the chair protesting his innocence, claiming he was set up by the local police chief and vowing vengeance from beyond the grave. Several teenagers are soon discovered dead, having been electrocuted. It seems Diablo's curse has come true. The mayor keeps the murders quiet because the town is celebrating "Spring Break", an annual festival in which thousands of students spend all their dollars having a good time. Suspects include the town's alcoholic doctor, the fascist police chief and Reverend Bates, whose wayward daughter is having sex with every young man in sight.

The show follows the adventures of Eric Cord, a college student transformed into a werewolf who undergoes a quest to rid himself of his curse by killing the apparent originator of his 'bloodline,' a drifter named Janos Skorzeny. While pursuing Skorzeny, Cord himself is pursued by the persistent bounty hunter "Alamo" Joe Rogan. However, Cord then begins to hunt down Nicholas Remy, the real originator of the bloodline. The show aired a two-hour pilot and 28 half-hour episodes before being cancelled in 1988. In the United Kingdom the series aired on Sky One c. 1989-1990.

They are saved by Close McCall and his souped-up stunt car War Lord, so he joins the team after initial resistance the first time he tried.

Although Billy makes mistakes along the way (some of these include: trying to find a way to cheat or do some smooth talking), Brady makes sure that he stays on good behavior during a train ride to Yuma, CA. The duo help prostitute Jennie Reed (Lee Purcell) who has trouble with a train baron. At the end, Brady's son's stepfather (Clu Gulager) is confronted.
