Cosmo Life - is a story about the universal nature of the music language. Internationally renowned artists and musicians from the different parts of the world who shared the “cosmopolitan state of mind”, have demonstrated how with the help of art and music to overcome the language and cultural barriers and create the world without borders. The main video materials for Cosmo LIFE were taken during the preparation for the unique Cosmo Life Concert on the Plaza de la Catedral in Havana in 2010. Cosmo Life Concert was not only the first joint Russian-Cuban musical project in modern history, but also the first show celebrating Afro-Cuban and Russian music that took place on the central square of Havana.
Konstantin, a songwriter and master guitarist, runs away from numerous problems to the nature reserve Mikhailovskoye. Kostya has long lost any way of income and has almost given up hope to be heard, living by sheer inertia and often drawing on alcohol. His wife and daughter are going to Canada, and in his head he constantly turns around the question: what exactly has gone wrong? How can he put it right? Does anyone need his creative work at all, or has he just talked himself into that? Maybe Konstantin has enough energy to change things, but he strongly doubts that: indeed, why and for whom should he try. Nevertheless, the nature reserve is the right place to collect his thoughts, break the minefield of his own life into sections, and get to work.
There is an abandoned little town in the middle of nowhere in Russia - only two lonely old men and recently widowed lady living there. One of the men decides to put an end to his loneliness and offer his hand to the widow. However, the other man is not satisfied with the twist and also offers himself as her companion. They wage war at each other.
Moscow Year New Year's Eve 1987. In the 25th hospital on duty are the obstetrician and the nurse. They make the rounds, after which sit down to celebrate the New Year. Suddenly, the hospital ambulance arrives with a pregnant woman - daughter of the general, who had an accident and she started the premature birth. Despite the exhortations of doctors that gestational age is a tragic turn for the child, a fierce general, threatening with a pistol, forcing him to take delivery. A child is born dead, and intimidated doctor decides to replace it for a living. On the same day another woman gave birth to twin-girls, one of which is changed. Ironically, the two girls called Masha.
