'Nena' is a documentary about Rosalina Avilés. She had a very big house in Cuernavaca, Mexico. When her husband died, she needed to rent her home and start working, fighting for her three children. Now they live in the US and she is alone with her memories. Nena talks about absence and resilience.
Ramona is fat woman with too much weight and barely any luck. She recalls a childhood filled with moral abuse by her mother, sister and friends, calling her silly offensive names referencing her overweight. But everything will soon get better thanks to some magical beetles she finds in a Tarot café.
