Human trafficking is the second most lucrative crime in the world. This terrible crime is an international phenomenon. Based on the testimony of survivors, social researchers, volunteers and employees of various organizations, we are able to present the dimensions of human trafficking in Puerto Rico. A phenomenon that for many it is still difficult to recognize.

Documentary presenting the story of Juan Meléndez, a Puerto Rican immigrant raised in the city of New York, who was charged in Florida for a murder he did not commit. Juan Meléndez was unjustly incarcerated on death row for 17 years, 8 months and 1 day, until his acquittal on January 3, 2002.

Quinn shows up at an apartment building in Paradise, a small backwoods community in Puerto Rico, purporting to be the new caretaker the owner has been expecting. He gets right to work, making a good impression on everybody, except Gus, the reclusive teenage gas station attendant. Soon, sinister things come to pass
