He loves his job, but when he is met on Monday mornings by the chaos in the garbage rooms, his patience is tested.

In Uzbekistan, the government has started its own war on terror. A war that – like so many others – is waged for political reasons, which rarely have anything to do with reality. As a result, thousands of Muslims are imprisoned on false charges of conspiring to commit terrorist crimes. One of them is the human rights activist Dilya's brother Iskandar, who has been imprisoned in the notorious Jaslyk prison in a barren desert since 2002 – an inhumane place of which there are no images. Today, she lives in exile in Sweden because of the threats and harassment, but Dilya continues to fight the case of her brother and other prisoners with the help of Amnesty International.

The decisive years of Swedish soccer player Zlatan Ibrahimović, told through rare archive footage in which a young Zlatan speaks openly about his life and challenges. The film closely follows him, from his debut with the Malmö FF team in 1999 through his conflict-ridden years with Ajax Amsterdam, and up to his final breakthrough with Juventus in 2005.

A gripping portrait of the dramatic, extravagant and ego-centric actor Ernst-Hugo Järegård (1928-1998) who would always be at the center of everything. On the out side he was a hailed and confident diva. In his solitude he was plagued by insomnia, anxiety and a complicated relationship with his father. Includes Ernst-Hugo Järegårds last performance "Aktörens läte/ The sound of the actor" (1998) and "Abstract Poker" (1971).

An old roll of film from the summer 1965 shows a party in an apartment on Fersens road in Malmö. It shows local popidols from bands like Namelosers and Gonks, but also common pop guys and girls. They gather around some exclusive guests: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones from Rolling Stones - the first international popband that visits Malmö. 40 years later the film creators meets some of the guests at the party. Rolling Like a Stone is a documentary about the people who had their identity shaped during the years in the mid-sixties. It is also a film about the difficulty of growing old with your dreams, and living in the present.

År 1999 sker något som aldrig hänt förut; klubben åker ur Allsvenskan på eget bevåg, efter att under en längre tid ha underpresterat sportsligt. Många inom föreningen är chockade och handlingsförlamade, men en ung lovande anfallare i Zlatan Ibrahimović och en nytillträdd sportchef i Hasse Borg blir klubbens nya framtidshopp.

This year the festival had chartered their own plan from London to bring the coolest bands in Britain to Sweden, which prompted television personality Henrik Schyffert to quip "If this plane crashes the hottest band in England will be Marillion"
