Region of Occitania, France, 1792. As the storm of revolution devastates the country, young monk Gabriel and his companions live peacefully in the Franciscan monastery of Saorge, near the Italian border. But everything changes with the arrival of the beautiful Marianne and a military detachment.

12th century: Cosme, a young monk runs away from his abbey to search for his father, whom he has never met. Meanwhile, he meets four “goliards”, young people trying to live at the present. With them, he will begin to walk on the path that leads to oneself…

Since Claudia lost someone close to her, she feels numb. Claudia tries to cope with everyday life, with the help of her friends and family. But these are rather a presence that ends up overwhelming her. Claudia runs away to be alone, distracted, trying to compose herself.
