The Doldrums is a not-coming-of-age movie and anti-musical that centers around three characters - Alec, Matt, and Cole - and how their friendship shifts when Alec, the oldest, goes off to college. Matt and Cole stay back home. The film is structured in six vignettes, marking Alec's biannual visits back to his hometown during the breaks in college. Each time he comes back, the three come together and party. However, he notices despite all of them growing older, his friends seem to be stagnating. The only really noticeable change overtime with Cole and Matt is their deepening involvement in the party scene and their steady progression of growing apart.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
