Drop Dead Gorgeous is a British comedy-drama for BBC Three. Set in Runcorn, it tells the story of 15-year-old Ashley Webb, whose life is turned upside-down when she is approached by a spotter from a local modelling agency. Events move at lightning speed and the whole family, including Ashley's fraternal twin sister Jade, are affected. The first episode was shown on BBC Three on Sunday, 11 June 2006 at 10pm, with weekly episodes until the finale, which aired on 2 July 2006. The first series was shown for the first time on BBC One in August 2007, in the run up to the premiere of the second series on BBC Three. The second series began on 16 September 2007 at 9pm, again with weekly episodes until the finale on 22 October 2007. As yet, the BBC have not cleared the series for release on DVD.
Chopratown is a comedy drama from the BBC about private eye Vic Chopra. In the film Chopra investigates Ali Ergun, a shady Turkish bakery owner. During his investigation he falls foul of Asian wide boy Ash Desai and added to this is the mystery of a missing cow. Chopratown was directed by Sean Grundy, who also directed the first series of the Channel 4 drama Sugar Rush. The name "Chopratown" is a pun on the Jack Nicholson cult film Chinatown.

The Murder of Stephen Lawrence, which originally aired in Britain in 1999, was one of the most quietly incendiary made-for-TV productions of 2002. As he did for his acclaimed feature Bloody Sunday, writer-director Paul Greengrass based the story on actual events and filmed it cinéma vérité-style. The cast is equal to the task in bringing the case to wrenching life. We're there in 1993 as racists viciously attack Stephen, an 18-year-old of Jamaican descent. We're there as his parents (Hugh Quarshie and Marianne Jean-Baptiste) grieve their loss. And we're there as they muster their resources, resolving to do whatever it takes to see his killers brought to justice. Although authorities attempted to bury the case, Stephen's murder became a cause célèbre due to the two ordinary individuals who refused to rest until it was solved. Thanks to their efforts, crimes against minorities aren't likely to be treated so lightly ever again.
Comedy drama about John Croft (Neil Morrissey), a failed businessman who is heavily in debt when he finds a wallet which contains a map which he later finds could lead him to hidden treasure. He decides to search for the treasure alone, but Roland Blood (Jim Carter), a dealer in naval antiquities, is not far behind. Croft follows the clues on the map from a castle to a church to a seaside promotory and finds the spot where the treasure was buried is the site of a new beachside housing development. He tries to buy the house, but his bank manager does not look kindly on his proposal and his wife is about to discover that he re-mortgaged her home. He decides to take drastic action…
